Hi all. I'm just making a comment, here:

The 1080p resolution is far larger than my comp screen can handle. When the gals are dancing, I'm only seeing the lower half - but that's the thing that I've started liking - a lot.

It's almost like you're at a strip joint, and you're choosing to focus on the dancer's legs and ass. Not a bad thing to focus on, eh?

I just wanted to toss this out - that I love the 1080p resolution, even though my computer screen is more accommodating to the 720p resolution.

[Note - I know about the "reduce clips to my screen resolution in full size" option - but that's the point - I love the 1080p resolution anyway!]

I was just wondering if anybody else is CHOOSING to use the 1080p resolution, on their 720p resolution computer screens.

Just tossin' this out there!

See y'all.

:O)

@HemiCuda Very nice point of view you have. Very refreshing to see the positive in what some would see as a negative.

Unfortunately for me when I visit lap dancing clubs I tend to focus on the dancers eyes. Not to say that I don't look elsewhere of course but it always gets a good response from them. Possibly also because I'm usually stone cold sober.

So for me it does not work so well. But as I said it is a positive viewpoint which is always good to see.

I've tried it both ways. My screen is 1280x800. I ended up leaving reduce clips to my screen resolution in full size ticked and switching it back for the odd clip.

I can see why you like leaving them full size. First time I viewed Bijou's Coastline clip it was full size. The level of detail is excellent.

I sometimes hook the notebook up to a Full HD TV as well. The GPU can handle it fine. That is good for a larger full size view of the whole model and also better for watching bonus videos and interviews (I have about 21 hours of these). you can string a playlist up in Media Player, shuffle it and enjoy the twist of not knowing what you get to see ;)

For testing, I am Downloading Both the 720p and when available, the 1080p size as well. ( I keep a separate folder for each )
Comparison wise, since they Bot are encoded from the same Higher resolution Source Video. both version have about the same detail and definition.

So I haven't notice where anything is lost because of the clip being reduced to 720p.

Obviously the Native 100% size is different.
On my Laptop ( 800 Pixels Height ) even some of the 720p standing clips are too tall for it.

For Size testing I watch them on my other screen which is 1200 pixels in height.
And Size wise, they are pretty consistent.

Using the reduce to my Screen check box, will give varied results, depending on each individual clip.
It takes into account not just the top of the Models head, but other items Such as the top of the cage, when computing how much reduction is needed.

So the same Card might have several different Clip Heights, based on what is the Highest part of that clip.

Manually lower the Zoom.
You can adjust the full size zoom slider..
This affects both the sitting and standing clips..

On the full size desktop Zoom setting 80% is the Lowest setting.
(I've suggested to the team to allow the full size zoom to go below 80%)

Even at 80%, with reduce to my Screen NOT checked, some clips are too tall...

For Now, with my laptop screen of 800 height, the Best Option for ME is to use 120% zoom, and Put a Check mark in the Reduce to my Screen for 720p cards.

80% Zoom with reduce to my screen checked, for 1080p cards.

Thanks WyldAnimal for sharing the zoom levels you prefer and additional config information.

I didn't explain and probably should have in hindsight. I'm not being critical or saying there is any loss of detail as such with the 720p clips 100% size at 1280x800. The ones that are too tall, I take it you are referring to the newer cards where the camera is now fixed zoom for both sitting, standing. My client is set to download 1080p so I haven't come across that.

Also, the coastline card seems to be one of the first where the crew have managed to rectify the camera/lighting issues they temporarily had. I have no issue with the quality of any of the cards I have downloaded. They are all perfectly enjoyable. It is just nice to see the new setup working so well.

It is crisper than some other 1080p and 720p cards I have which seem ever so slightly softer at 100% zoom (Gina Devine, Peach Bellini for example).

@DMon1981 - kind words, thank you.

You're absolutely right, about the eyes. They are definitely an important part of "sexy."

I've taken to Charlotta's and Vani's eyes, recently - and have always loved Blue Angels' eyes, too.

Again, thank you for the kind words - and I definitely agree with your comment about the eyes.

@HemiCuda Yes even in dark clubs the eyes are special.

I have always loved the opposite sex even at an early age, but there was a time that I would not even consider going into a lap dancing club.

Now is a different story as it is hard to get me out when I actually go in to one as I love the atmosphere and of course the naked ladies.

That is why I took to Virtuagirls the way I did and have the full collection, each one holds something special even if they may not be to your usual tastes.

It is the same in a live club for me, each of the performers is special in their own way, wherever you happen to be looking! ;-D

Keep up the positive words and enjoy the performers. ;-D
