NFTs, "non-fungible tokens"-resulting from the hyper-secure technology of blockchain and crypto currencies are revolutionizing the art, video games, sports and collectibles market, like NBA Top Shot, Sorare or even Godsunchained.
Card collectors see this technology changing collectible trading markets by certifying their great value.
Other big names like Pokémon or DC comics are also expected to come on the market.

When you have an NFT it is "for life", engraved for life on the blockchain and certified in your name forever!

iStripper and VirtuaGirl before it has unique content and we're always thinking of how to highlight our 20 years history and produce unique adult content.

NFT seems to be a very interesting way of doing this, not only for our very first VirtuaGirl animations created in 1998, which is a treasure in the history of adult entertainment (we even find traces of it in some great marketing books of the 2000s where VirtuaGirl is described as a model of viral mechanism, with its 150 million downloads) ... like all our iStripper cards!

As you know, Totem has always been a pioneer in technology. VirtuaGirl released in 1998 with the birth of the Internet, was entirely designed in-house with a unique concept of cutting out video in the first proof.
20 years on, Totem is still pioneering with the launch of the world's first 3D VR Striptease club, vrparadise.com...

It is therefore quite natural that we take an interest in the principle of NFTs, their interest, their future, their sustainability...

Personally, I don't like this idea. If I were to spend my money on something (whatever it is) that is limited, unique or somehow special, it would have to be something that exists physically in the real world, not digital goods.
Good example would be your outfit auctions - you sell items somehow unique and they exists physicaly. These are things you can look at, touch, smell or whatever. You can be 100% sure there's no second copy like the one you have and you are the only owner.

How does the NFT relate to iStripper content? Are you going to create digital content that will be sold to a limited number of members? Something like SEC cards, except that the number of copies will be limited? Or maybe some special shows or VR clips dedicated to selected users or group of users?

How does the NFT relate to iStripper content? Are you going to create digital content that will be sold to a limited number of members?

My speculation is they are thinking about releasing the whole iS catalog also as NFTs, so people wanting it could own the "original files" (or so) of their favorite card(s) and bind it to themselves by getting their own name on the blockchain.
i don't know if such a marketing idea would work; only thing I know is I wouldn't be interested in it...

I worry about the environmental impact of NFT for things that are 1s and 0s that have been duplicated 1000s of times already likely anyways. Even Beeple dedicated to going net carbon neutral on all future works.

At the same time I also feel this is somewhat a fad that will also stick around in a smaller capacity.

Right now NFT is basically a new version of Supreme where people spend a bunch of money to show they can spend a bunch of money.

Its not like a work of art since Monet physically touched and put brush strokes to the canvans. What an NFT is essentially is doing is basically putting your name on the reproduction of that artwork since NFT is just that 1s and 0s sent and duplicated to another hard drive.

Honestly I think it would be more unique to get a copy of the original code, the original photo/video shoot files, or soemthing.

Also would all rights and control be moved to the NFT owner so they could remove, change pricing, or move to another platform the work of art?

I like the way payments are working now. I can't see how my life would be better with this new technology. The only technological improvements I want to see with iStripper involves the actual content provided.

I'm in the same boat.

I'm an avid trading card collector. I collect Baseball, Football, Hockey, TCG (Trading Card Games) and have branched out in to more adult cards such as Benchwarmers and Playboy. I would much rather have something physical in my hand, such as a "Swatch" card (cards that have an embedded piece of gameworn fabric, like a jersey, or a model's underwear (Yes. that's a real thing.) with their picture on it) or "Auto" (autograph card with the model's name and picture). These can be combined with limited number of things such as "Parallels" (different, limited borders or holographs for the same card or model limited to like 1 of 1, 1 of 10, 1 of 25, ect) or even the printing plate which would be a 1 of 1.

I have examples of all of these which I would be more than happy to share if it didnt ***** the rules and TOS but you can read up on them pretty easily through their websites.

Another thing, is companies like Topps and Upper Deck are offering the ability to buy digital packs online through their websites and have "digital lockers" for their items, but they offer the ability to trade it in to a physical version of a card if you pay for the shipping and handling.

Something like this would be a great opportunity to cater to both the digital and phyiscal crowds. Topps is also expected to go public in a new IPO in late Q2 / Q3 of this year. Trading cards are absolutely BOOMING right now with the pandemic going on.

Im not to big of a fan of bitcoin and crypto exchanges...its been damaging to the enviroment...and its made it so its hard to get my hands on graphics card because were in a gold rush to farm crypto exchanges...while it is the future...im guessing we will see legislative movements to not go against crypto exchanges themselves but the farming of it...and this could have a negative impact on the crypto exchange markets...

How would such a venture like this work?
Would the new owner have limited roylates...and how would this effect model contracts of the past...seems like this would be a self destructive move if it wasnt properly planned... now if you made it so its like a lithograph type stuff meaning you will be selling multiple copies of it but keep ownership of the original i could see it working out somewhat...but also bare in mind like say...if you sold them originals for say 1000 bucks...and they turn out to be worht 10's of thousands you dont see a cent of it...the new ownership sees that profit...and once again does the model contracts support this endeveaur....cuz that could come back to haunt ya...

bad idea all the way around 1. limited amount of digital stuff? ya that doesnt work. someone will find a way to copy it sooner or later and when that happens your screwed. 2. what if you lose that email password or whatever thats associated with these items 3. crypto currency is so shadey with everything as in who actually made it what server or servers hold the info and where are these located plus government ban may happen and it would be world government ban on this not just certian countries like what happened in the past. i know china and other countries did try to ban and it and they stated they failed but in reality if the government does not recognize a currency its worthless and they can step in and ban credit cards from taking in bit coin and "steal" your money after you invested 1,000's in it confisicating it stating well its apart of crypto and crypto has been associated with illegal activity. for anyone whos invested into anything crypto be cautious about this. its better to hold something real then have it digital this also means all digital product will be unsellable since you cant change your name on the crypto product. the only person that benifits from this type of prduct is big tech not the consumer

I find the desire to "own" digital materials incomprehensible, but there are many serious "collectors" of iStripper cards who might be quite keen to own a complete, authenticated collection of iStripper memorabilia. I don't know if they would want this to include unique digital content or an Achievement or a badge or something, but it would certainly sweeten the deal. Plus, NFTs can be traded.

Personally, I'm strongly against NFTs and blockchain on environmental grounds. It is also disruptive to financial and fiscal systems and facilitates crime. Money is a fragile myth, but one which makes modern society work, so fiddling with the concept invites disaster (though bankers' drafts worked, credit cards worked and we got rid of the gold standard without the financial systems imploding, so disaster isn't inevitable).

Overall, an NFT package might work, but not for me.

You see - I'm still of the mindset that I prefer my music on CD's not on downloads; I don't store anything in the "cloud" (well - knowingly!). I like to be able to physically touch what I own which includes the outfits I have bought from Totem.

About the one exception to this "desire for physicality" is of course my iStripper collection - but even with that I have multiple back-up copies on hard-drives and I trust Totem not to torpedo those collections.

But Bitcoins and NFTs - all a bit too ethereal and volatile for me.

Playboy just announced they're going in to the NFT market this week and already announced their first partnership. Stock short squeezed from ~22$/s to about 33.50$/s this week. It's back down to mid 20's but its target price is set at 35$ a share long term. There is a lot to potentially invest in, whether it be the stock, crypto or actual NFT's surrounding a well established company.

I for one, as I mentioned above, would much rather have something physical like a trading card but I would not be opposed to how Upper Deck does theirs with the ability to opt in for a physical card by paying shipping with having it mostly as a digital locker.

I would venture to invest in a Posable High Mesh 3d Model
With High resolution scans of the Actual Model

So instead of the NFT being a Still like a Statue
You could pose it, Dress and undress it
And even create an Animation from it.
In the App, the Camera Position can be animated
Lighting can be changed.

So you'd get a life like replica of the real Model Complete with all the genital bits..

I guess the NFT portion would be the Digital High Resolution Scan / Material, Texture, and Bump Map

What gives value to NFT's and Crypto Currency is
they have a Finite / Limited amount.
and each one is Digitally Verifiable as being the Original.

Just like a real One of a Kind Painting
It is the only Real one.
but Copies can be Made and Sold...

But in the End, the Only one that has Value is the One that can be Authenticated.

Your Copy, no matter how much you paid for it, would have little to no value, if it couldn't

What is an NFT worth without a means to interact with it in .. lets say five or ten years?
A unique landscape picture taken by a lucky photographer and sold as an NFT ..

• I can look at it with opensource means
• I can give it as a present to someone I love
• I can sell it to someone else

I don't see at this point, where totem would fit in.
A card that can only be played on totem software ... what about 20 years down the road ?
I can still look at the picture ... can I see the special item from totem ?

So you have to think about the format of the item and the rights that you can and want to sell.

The idea to have a limited number of cards .. you only get your share in the first stage, when you sell such a limited number of cards to customers. .. Very likely with the windhound strategy .. first come first serve.
Once such a card is sold the new owner might auction it off .. making the real money at the right time.

So in the end .. no .. without more input, what you guys got in mind .. I would not see me partaking.

Lotta negative comments here. Having looked at the Playboy proposition (thanks @DigitalTK ), I've been wondering what iStripper might sell as NFTs. Here are some silly ideas:

• If the stills from the Classic collection were done on an analogue camera, would you buy a hi-res scan, or a set of scans? Not necessarily very expensive. Kyla Cole lifesize! And, for @pickle, a poster version.
• Limited edition vids of current girls in, say, 8k? Maybe they just sell 100 and you'd get a badge next to your avatar! And when you're bored with it, sell it on Ebay.
• For the wealthier iStripper fan, personalised videos (Hi, this is Eve and I'm doing this show just for you, [insert name here]).
• Specially commissioned playlists, playable irrespective of whether or not you already own all the shows.

I know there must be more possibilities and any of the above could be done as traditional propositions, but more specific products might make NFT look more attractive.

I for myself find the Ideas from HansSachs and Wyldanimal also interesting but thought about some more Physical Dust Collectors.
There are Companys out there that can make really great 3D Printed Figurine/Statues, the Idea with the DAZ Studio Files is good but not everyone has the Skill to operate them or get the best Results out of it.
How about combine these Ideas in a (physicall) Collectors Box?

Including:

• exclusive BTS stuff
• an manipulatible(is this a Word?) 3D Software Model
• Trading Card
• small Figurine/Statue

So how much will this real estate set you back? One bitcoin? £41000... and it lost £320 while i checked this. It's another ponzi pyramid scheme!
