I've been around for almost a few years now and I couldn't help but notice the advent calander this year and a some of the newer content is lack luster to put it best without offending. Not sure how many took part in the 2019 calander but it to me was much better than this years and I wonder why. I figure right now COVID has slashed Totems model pool in half and that could be an bvious reason. Perhaps I am way off here and nothing has changed at all? What do you guys think?

Given that the great majority of models in previous years were from Eastern Europe, in the more recent years particularly from Russia and Ukraine whereas this year Totem have for the most part had to pretty much rely on models who are in already in France, and probably in or near Paris, I would think that the pool of available models was slashed to much less than a half of its previous size. I doubt that the French authorities would count travelling to a soft porn studio as essential travel.

I think the Team was trying to make the best out of the Situation, and for my Taste they did a great Job in 2020 👍
The Covid Situation is another Topic so i will leave it here for that ... but,
it has an impact on everyone of us not only on Totem.

I only joined the iStripper fun this year. Soon learned best not to buy shows in bulk or blind. Check the previews, see if the lady interests you. Didn't do the advent calander thing therefore. You may be right @justanotherdude about the comparison to last year, but given the situation we are all in, hardly surprising. I just think it's remarkable the service has been able to continue to the level it has. And of course we can all take a trip into the past and watch all those shows we have while we stay at home and stop spreading the bug around.

Factually, I reproduce below the list of shows in 2020 and then the list in 2019 (and if you look back in the Forum, someone said 2019 was worse than 2018!!!).

Before we get to the lists, my personal (non-moderator) view is that we got lots of variety this year in terms of colour, body shape, outfits, breast size, levels of eroticism, dance skills etc. I personally was very happy with the selection.

I agree with both points. I think it must have been challenging to find models with all that is going on in the world and I do defenitely feel that there has been a decline in quality as I feel like there are now a lot fewer "model level" dancers. I do know that everyone has there own tastes and mine are more in the spinner category Alice Wonder, Katya, would love to see Marilyn back etc. There has been a shift away from this type of preformer it seems which to some is a good thing and to others not so much.

Lets see what this year brings and hope everyone is well and remains healthy.

Agree with CheddarCheese. I am definitely in the petite/spinner camp and I have seen a decrease in those types of girls here. I'll cut slack for the pandemic, but I hope we begin to see more of what brought me here in the first place.

I really think all of us with large collections run into the "hit music" mindset. The only cards from the past we watch regularly are the favorites and the best, we either delete the others or never bought them in the first place. For me this is about 25% of cards. I tend to WANT to buy every card but really should only expect 2 cards a week to be any good because historically that is my reality. Totem is still releasing the same number of top girls as the past but in the present you notice the flaws and duds while forgeting those sames flaws from previous years.

I'm just so happy to see naked women....

I appreciate everyone's input! Some really fine points were made the cheifest being it's just great that Totem has kept the service going dispite the many challenges of 2020. If nothing else fingers crossed 2021 is just a better year all around.
