@Rita69 asked me to post a theory she has, regarding the 30-Point Poll.

Theory:
(a) The rapid rise in popularity of (Little) Caprice has taken votes from Anna Tatu.
(b) Melisa's older fan base gave more votes to Caprice than to Anna T.

Rita says she'll be back tomorrow to explain, and, if necessary, defend her theory.

Love to see what others think about this.

Personally, I don't think @Rita69's theory holds up. Sorry, Rita.

I am more interested in the different ways of polling. Would the result be different if we looked only at the number of members who mentioned each model? In other words, each mention gets one vote.

A quick look suggests no change in the top three, but Jana Cova would jump to 4th ahead of Sabrisse.

What would a poll asking each member to name their top 10 models, in no particular order, produce?

Is a model's popularity simply a function of the number of members who have purchased her cards?

Do polls such as this have any effect on sales of cards?

I would love to have access to Totem's records to resolve these questions.

Update. I did not see Rita69's latest posts until now. Definitely willing to extend the closing date/time to allow all to enjoy their vacation time and still join in the voting. Won't set a new closing date until we see the response of new voters.

@Rita69, I have no idea how many women voted. My guess is that you may be our only female voter so far. How far can we trust the info members provide Totem on joining?

Higher resolution is most likely a big factor in popularity of later models, I would think.
