Hey, so, great software and all but I wanted to bring something to your attention. I've made two different credit purchases. The first time was with a regular bank card. The second time, I used a pre-paid card purchased specifically for this since the first purchase caused a fraud flag at the bank to cancel the card and replace it. The payment went through fine, they asked me if it was real or not, but they still canceled the card due to the fraud detection. Just something that you might want to look into as the cost of activating a new card for each purchase, just to avoid card cancellation, is kinda a detterent on more purchases.

I have this problem too... extremely frustrating...

International charges are sometimes automatically flagged as possible fraud. One solution is to contact your bank before purchasing credits and tell them to allow charges from the United Kingdom and Malta (I'm not sure if Totem billing originates in any other countries). Some banks also allow you to use an app (CardValet, maybe others) to set controls on how and when your card is used.

And I have never had a problem with Totem's billers taking my bank card. I have had issues with the antichrist aka PayPal accepting my payment card in other on-line purchases from other enterprises.

I get an error stating "wrong card" when I try to process my payment. I've double checked everything and still get the same error.

Any ideas?

You could try changing billers. There is an option to select a different biller on the bottom of the page.

What kind of card are you trying to use?

FYI, you cannot just buy a VISA/MC gift card, load some money on it and try to use for this purpose.

The credit card must be linked to you legally somehow or it won't work for most online purchases.

Nope, same thing. I tried PayPal as well and it requires me to use Mastercard or Discover neither of which I have.

Is Visa not accepted through PayPal?

Never had a problem under Virtual Girl... I can't buy card one under iStripper...

I'm using a debit card that has worked pretty much everywhere except here.

I'm in the US, is that a concern with International orders?

I have a Visa tied to PayPal, but when I choose PayPal, after I log in I get prompted to add a MC or Discover card. This is getting to a point where it's almost not worth it...

Your US source must be traceable. as @pumpdude said ..,. cards you buy at CVS/Target/Walmart etc. (even if they have VISA or MasterCard on them) will not work for overseas transactions.

My card is a bank issued Visa, only problem I've had with it is here...

I did have a problem with PayPal and VISA a while back.

They specifically didn't allow me to register my VISA card even though like you, mine was bank issued and all legal like. Almost the same as CostCo, who would only take one kind of credit card and no other kinds.

I still don't have my VISA registered with them but my pre-paid M/C is and works fine.

PayPal also doesn't "officially" pay for porn sites or at least they didn't, so I don't know how the card processor gets around that (I know they do, but not how) and that may be tripping you up as well.

Paypal is also not available all the time here due to limitations by the parent processor so it gets shut off at the most inconvenient of times (during special credit recharges and the like) so unless you are stuck with only that option, you may wish to try another payment method/processor.
