Just been watching Alyssa Reeces Cosmopolitan card and wanted to know what other people think of the use of the cage in this card of hers?

To me the use of the cage doesn't go very well with her outfit. Here is what I commented on this card on her profile:

"This is a great outfit that suits her well and her performance is good but the only thing that lets this card down is the use of the cage. The cage really does not go with her outfit and shouldn't have been used. To me the cage should be used for more kinky (leather/PVC) outfits or casual wear at the very most and not for more classy & sophisticated outfits or dresses like Alyssa is wearing in this one. Please get the use of the cage right next time Totem, please!"

Any thoughts and opinions from anyone on this?

That background doesn't go very well with the outfit. It should only be used for sci-fi cosplay outfits.

I think you should put it in the recycle bin.

Forget the background & take it out of the equation 91hebasu, that just happens to be my wallpaper at the moment and that's not what im asking about.

Your idea of the right use for the cage will very likely Not be what others consider to be the right use. Your opinion of the right way isn't necessarily the only right way.

Right and wrong is objective in this case.

Yeah, leather and PVC would fit a BDSM theme and the cage would as well. However, quite a few members have expressed that they have no interest in that type of theme. Enter a whip into the equation and that would definitely fit the leather / PVC / BDSM theme but, may trigger a bunch of "How dare you" complaints. Especially if a girl uses said whip on another. Same goes for the Caged Girl and Prisoner type themes. Some will like them and some won't.


I like Alyssa's little summer dress outfit and I don't really care that she happens to be standing in the cage while wearing it.



Speaking of themes........
It seems to be a recurring theme for members to ***** about a particular show containing something they don't care for and wanting it stopped and/or removed. Pretty much saying....."If I don't want to see it, no one should be able to see it !"

That is getting really old.

If you don't like it, you don't have to watch it. No one's ***** you to.

@MattBfreq3 there is a poll on the use of the cage. Maybe you can add to the throng who don't want it offered in future cards there.

Since the voting in the 'cage' thread by Rex is about 50/50 for and against, and was started before the cage was introduced, I wondered how people would vote now that we have a few shows with the cage...

It's interesting How Each Person Has their Own Views or Ideas of how a Prop should be Used.

There is no true Right or Wrong way..
or a Right or Wrong Outfit or Theme...

Since the Entire Card is Not Just Made up of Cage, or Pole, or Swing clips..
Each member has the Freedom to either View them or Not..

But no member should ever suggest that another members ability to Enjoy a certain type of Clip be removed.

Ideas are good to share, so to is constructive criticism.
How to properly Express that Idea or thought is the Hard Part.

I dunno about right or wrong props. If VG was trying to really emulate a real strip club, most of the outfits would be just high heels, boots, bikinis and no more that 3 or 4 types of fantasy outfits repeated ad nauseum with the models doing almosst nothing but going around a pole. So, the VG strip club is unique.

Now, props, outfits ,and even the models themselve, gonna be right or wrong for each viewer, according to his or her very particular ways to enjoy the product. To some the outifits, the props, the make-up, etc, should match the music and the background; to others is all about performance; to others is just masturbatory help... and then some just try to find something to dislike.

When it comes to a prop, any prop, to me the only thing that matters is that the model use it with at least a little effort and deliver a good performance. Alyssa did good clips with the cage, so I don't care what she was wearing... or not. ;)

Im not saying the cage is a bad thing and I do like it when used with the right themes & situations, but in this case it didn't work for me with the outfit Alyssa is wearing.
For me I probably wont watch the cage clips on this card again, but the rest of the card clips I enjoyed and will watch more.

You've hit the nail on the head there with that comment, even though its off topic and I explained about the background already, its the same point i'm making about my view between Alyssas card theme and the cage, they don't fit!

I agree 100% with Matt... the outfit, and cage just don't work together. I won't buy this card. - the cage has its place, but there are limits. ... and , altho your background is cool, you could try having several pics that rotate in and out every 10-30 seconds. ... the girls dancing ( ect) to such backgrounds are more entertaining. ( just sayin' )

Although, considering that you're talking about things not quite fitting together, it's completely On Topic. Just not the one you intended.

OK, lets just take the point that was made, not everyone's tastes agree and while it id fine to say it doesn't fit your tastes, it is not fine to suggest that it should be removed.

The same applies the other way, just because a card suites your tastes, you can't demand that it be used to the exclusion of others.

By the way WA, nice collection of cages.

I agree that a stripper cage is traditionally used with a certain outfit (skimpy leather or such).
However in this card, I personally find the contradiction to be interesting. A 'normal' outfit, something a lady could wear out on the town, but she's in a stripper cage = you have my attention.
