Now that this new Overview has been out for a bit, I think it's time to see what the members think of it. In the form of a poll.

I feel that ONE 20 second clip(give or take) on a loop is kinda lacking. This new overview can't even compare to the old one as far as I'm concerned.

I liked that the old one had several clips in succession. Starting from the left with one, adding a clip every few seconds until four or five clips were playing and then rotating back to the first to start over. We got to see several clips and they got our attention. I could go on for hours about what I don't like about the new overview but I won't get into that.


Anyway......I consider myself Seriously Disappointed with this new Overview and I'm curious what other members think of it. Keep in mind that what I'm looking for is your opinion as far as a comparison between old and new. I'm more focused on content than quality but please comment if you feel the quality is more important and couldn't care less about content.

Feel free to just vote or post a comment to share your thoughts on the matter as well. Just a few words or write a novel if you like......lol

Its not even an overview anymore, its an UNDERview! It shows nothing and they made it smaller. Frankly I thought it was a joke, some prank by Totem. This is a downgrade from the old overview in every way. FIX THIS TOTEM. FIX IT NOW. AAAAAAAAAARRRGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

It's not that much different from the old one and it might show a little more video... so long as it's not affecting my cards I'll vote 'meh...whatever'.

It’s not unusual for businesses to give their displays a facelift. Often it’s just a fresh look and doesn’t really change anything. That’s what we have here, not an improvement, not a disaster, just a different display.

Disappointed, yes, but only because I was expecting more from the creative team at Totem.

It's not very impressive, but I can live with it. The old one was better IMHO.

The new one doesn't give anymore this INFO, which the older overview did. Different clips (pole dance, single...) bigger size, better quality, this is the old one - real overview.

Now we have one clip only, smaller by size, loss of picture quality - it doesn't look like an overview.

Seriously disappointed! Two steps backwards!

Totem has shown us a demo of the Full overview that features more than One clip.
It's the Same Size that is in the GUI now, but It rotates among all of the Demo clips for the Given Card.
Right Now, the concern is the amount of Bandwidth that will be Consumed by Downloading more than One Demo per card Viewed.

Personally, I liked the New overview with all of the Demos played in Rotation.

Maybe Totem is Working On a Smaller Animation Size Just for these.
As it is, they are using the Full size Demo file, and just Displaying it in a Reduced Size.
If they Re-Encode the Demo's in a smaller size just for this purpose, they Could Save hug amounts of Bandwidth.

So in conclusion. The Current Overview with just a single demo, is not up to snuff..
The New Overview utilizing all of the Demo's I think would be more accepted by all.

Yeah I noticed this new overview shows all the girls just sitting on the taskbar doing nothing for 20 seconds. But apparently lots of people like it that way....so WHATEVER!

If all the demo clips would play in rotation that would be something I guess.

Well I still like the old preveiws better of standing, sitting, strip pole shots, etc.
at least in those you got multiple angles instead of just one clip.
Well I suppose the new preveiw is better than nothing although it is a serious DOWNGRADE to what we had before, seriously disappointed.

All the demos clips will rotate soon, we started with one to make sure our servers could handle the charge.

that is great news Rex. Being able to see a varity of the clips, sitting, Pole, Standing.. will help to generate more sales.

I kniw it's a lot of work for the team to create the HTML5 demos for the web, but for the GUI, it's just a little change.

Speaking of HTML5, now the Adobe is pulling the plug on Flash, I guess all of the Older Flash content is going to have to get re-worked.

What a bummer. Flash was such a nice web enhancement.
