Extra post deleted. Sorry about that. Given that there was a forum for both DeskBabes and VirtuaGirl, I didn't know whether or not a concern that goes across both of them should be posted to one forum or both.
I suppose the only thing to do is pay attention to comments that are actually worth the time put into them. I just didn't want it to remain that way. When I first came around, there wasn't an abundance of 9's. If I saw one, I looked further to find out why. Now it's just 9 across the board. Might as well drop the rating system if this continues to be the case. You have an obsolete value taking up memory on the servers and ***** functionality and coding implementing it.
Given that I've only ever seen ratings ranging 7 to 9...Totem should just ditch the 10 point scale and move to a 5 point one. Your average, did-their-job as expected girls get a 3 while the ones who fell short get a 2. The dismal get a 1 and the spectacular get a 4 maybe 5. Maybe that'd be easier to judge by, but I image there'd just be a whole bunch of models with > 4 since showing up to the studio rates the max score these days.
Or add a rating system to the comments themselves. If someone's comment is just trash talk, failed to really justify their rating, or had no justification at all, then a lower comment rating would cause that user's rating of the model to have less weight in the overall rating calculation.
It's whatever I guess. It's just useless to see a 9 as an indicator of value. If that 9 has no good comments on it, then it's a crap shoot as to whether or not it's worth the money.
