Hi guys and gals, after downloading the deskbabes program and the addition of the X Rated erotic level, I found out that a card: Laetitia-Holiday Motel has one clip which you can view only by ticking the X Rated field.

Have you found any more X Rated clips out there? I couldn't find any info on the forums. I'm downloading some more cards to review as I wait for your response :)

The answer is yes.

More information:
The shows have a xyzz, zzyzz or xxxyzz filename structure.

B4DB there were four levels. Numbered 1 through 4.
The X-rated clips, roughly translated penetration, would be classed 4 explicit.

With the release of a product that was intended to be more explicit, a new catagory was added. Numbered 5.

So from that point on some shows are rated X-rated or 5.

So how do you find them?
Start a command prompt, cd to your models folder, dir /s *5??.vghd
will scan all subfolders looking for anything'5'two characters dot vghd.
a*5??.vghd for just vg, c*5??.vghd for just db


Humm thats not right. Anyone know why ?? is not working?

I have to admit that I was surprised to see that *5??.vghd does not work either. I had to do some research to find out why. The web page that I found that reveals the reason why is here:

The posting tells about other quirks (mostly noted at the end of the posting before the comments section). Most of these quirks come from carryovers from past behaviors that MS wanted to maintain. I personally think MS should have redone the wildcard rules at some point to work as they intuitively would. So what if it breaks a lot of old batch scripts. If a script is that old now, they should have been ***** to be rewritten for the sake of having a consistent and working set of rules. Now you simply can't rely on the current rules unless you know all the quirks (and most people don't!).

So where does that leave us with regard to coming up with a DOS command that will work? I've created a new command that pipes all the vghd files into a findstr command which uses its regular expression capability to find the correct files. Use the following commands to find the explicit vghd files (be sure to type them exactly as shown):

For VGHD files: dir /s *.vghd | findstr /r "a*5..\.vghd"
For DB files: dir /s *.vghd | findstr /r "c*5..\.vghd"

It's hard to see with this forum font but following the 5 there are two dots, then a backslash, then a dot followed by vghd. The character before the findstr command is a vertical bar (above a backslash on your keyboard). And don't forget the double quotes (") around the regular expression after /r.

EDIT: I've added a picture to help show the exact syntax of the command which shows the DB files.

Well that is a stupid quirk.

I guess my dir command piped to the findstr might offer a performance improvement for large collections. Basically cut down the data reported and passed through the pipe.

Good old Windows XP search worked with a*5??.vghd to find them all.
For DB you won't find a card without x-rated clips i think so it doesn't make sense to look for them.

Yeah for the new users the info that the level 5 (x-rated) was added about half a year ago. Before that we had only four levels. The girls spiderman101 named would have a lot of x-rated clips would their shows have been released after that level was added. You will find explicit clips that are more x-rated than some x-rated clips.

I haven't understood very good... I'm in VG from 10 days maybe, can i see all levels show of the girls that i donwload? :-)

In the shows overview you can find something like this:
"Buy her and enjoy her dancing and stripping on your desktop, just like you would see in a live strip bar.
This FULL SHOW features full nudity and sexually explicit behaviour.
This is a sample overview of her performance on your desktop after you buy her. "
If it says 'and sexually explicit behaviour' also then the show has explicit (lvl 4) clips.
If not it has only full nudity (lvl 3) clips max. But this message only appears for shows you haven't bought yet. Once a show is in your collection you can't see it easily. Only easy way is to activate only 'explicit' on Desktop setting dialogue in the software and the card you wanna test and start VG. If a clip of that card starts to play it has lvl 4 clips if not it hasn't lvl 4 clips.

Ok Folks I had to switch to my secondary account to check something.
As long as you HAVEN'T BOUGHT the show yet you can find out the maximum nudity level in the show overview.

Looks like Totem forgot to define a text for x-rated. But even that helps if you know for what you have to look(see 3rd screenshot) I underlined the important parts.
