I setup my VirtualGirlHD screensaver. when I preview it or it runs on it's own the screensaver keeps flickering in and out. Is this normal or do I have to tweek the program somehow to make it stop and show a constant screensaver without the flickering?

No, it souldn't flicker.

There could be several reason for this : start by posting your
system specifications if you could - this way we would know if
your hardware was up to the job.

I'm running a Compaq Presario notebook with Intel Pentium Dual Processor T2390 @1.86 GHz and 2 GB memory. My OS is Vista 32-bit.

I hope that this is the answer, if not please tell me where to look. My display adapter is a Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family. My video controller is a Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 221.

Depends on the graphics and what you consider flickering in and out. I found on slow graphics cards the lighting effects made the models change colour in a nasty fashion. The model would suddenly go very pink when the red light came on... etc. These can be turned off.

ATI appears to be worse than Nvidia in terms of just not working right with DX 10. This is perhaps more true of implementations on the very latest cards, the hardware appears to ship before the software is quiet ready. Selecting the right driver can also be somewhat of hit-n-miss or black art for ATI.

I am assuming some cheap graphics in your laptop, so probably keeps up the speed just fine and no nasty driver issues. It is probably just the lighting effect. Turn it off at... Screensaver > Lighting mode > Static.

Where do I find out what kind of graphic card I have? I searched my system devices and I couldn't find any graphic card or drivers.


Also, on another note, I have six girls downloaded but only two continuously show up dancing for me. How can I get all six to show up continuously dancing for me?

3) display Prosperties + settings.

is possible the trailers is not download or is not activ, have a contrôl of the show and is possible you must download the trailers.

control the program for see if you have all show active.

if the show is color then is download, if is black and white, then is not download.

The girls' icons are in color. They were showing up at one time, but after playing with the control panel trying various settings, I must have done something that disabled them from showing. How can I get them to show again? Should I download them over again?

Thanks for showing me where to find my graphics card. It seemed that I had the right info after all. I even went as far as updating the driver, but the screensaver still flickers in and out on me.

You may have selected a nudity level that only some of the models have.

Systray VGHD > Options > Desktop > Open Advanced > select all four allow options.

Many models do not have full nudity, jumping from topless to explicit.

Take that back... you have no full shows... only some of the trailers have what are considered topless cards... so you have to allow non-nude to play in order to see any clips (for most trailers).

hello @meissen your welcome, for your computer is possible is limite for VGHD who ask lot of ressource. and a strong card graphic, sorry.

Thanks for the help. I did as you suggested and now I have all my girls back. There were a few that I just loved to watch. I'm glad they're back.

As far as the screensaver flickering is concerned, I had another program running at the same time as I was previewing the screensaver - a program that showed a personal development video in the background as I worked. Once I turned this program off the flickering stopped. Now the preview runs just fine except for 2 more problems.

Now, when I preview the screensaver in the VGHD control panel or my computer's control panel after a few minutes I get a message that says: VirtualGirlHD executable has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop functioning correctly.

The second problem is that the screensaver doesn't come on when my computer is idle after my set time.

How come I get the message in the preview state and no screensaver running when my computer is idle? I'm assuming the problems are connected (?).

hello @meissen for the screensaver have a look if you have actived one, for test active only one and try one other if is not work.

for the stop program, we must wait the next update, Totem work for remove several bug.

Going by your suggestion, I've discovered that when I have one and only one girl selected I don't receive the program stop message in preview mode. However, even though I have the screensaver activated it still does not run when my computer is idle.

To activate screensaver when idle go to
Start:
Settings/Control Panel (or just contol panel depending on you menu)
Display:
ScreenSaver:
Select VGHD from the list, set the time then hit apply.
Make sure you have a model/models of your choice selected from the VGHD program.
