I have just seen a PM from a moderator informing me that there is a Discord member registered as TheEmu.

It is not me.

This is one of the things that I was somewhat worried about and had been considering joining Discord simply to prevent it. It seems that I was too late.

@TheEmu (the one and only) I just checked on my pseudo and found another same name as me. It seems they joined last March. That's not me either, I didn't even know about Discord then. I joined it in August and had no problems, no issues saying the name was already used. The other wsw has done nothing on Discord at all. The other TheEmu joined last April and also has done nothing since. So you could at some point join and use your pseudo. The names have four digits to separate them. So you have TheEmu#9681 now. You might be TheEmu#0007 who knows.

I think people do this to claim your rank, but it doesn't bring any particular advantage on the discord (except nickname color for premiums).

On Discord, a few channels are accessible only by the rank too (the TripleDiamonds channel for example). So, if another user has the same nickname, we have to know the 4 digits which follow the pseudo on Discord to be sure of his identity. And to setup the good rank, the user ID (iXXXXX) on iStripper can help more than the pseudo.

There are level related plans that have yet to be rolled out on Discord.
So it is Important for a discord member to provide their iStripper psuedo, or login number

Discord provides for the possibility of 10,000 members using the same member name.

imagine the name Bob
on Discord each member also is assigned a 4 digit identifier
so your Discord name is Bob#0000 to Bob#9999
Making for 10,000 members who can share the same name.

Your Discord name is Used across the entire Discord metaverse.
But on each Server you Join, you can create a custom NickName that is used Just on that Server.

So rather then just using the Name Bob
you could use Bob eats Pizza
and then after you Join a server, change your NickName to BigRichard
For each server on Discord you can create a different Nickname

on iStripper Discord, we use the NickName to Verify your iStripper account
It MUST be an EXACT match, no exceptions.

So if you are lilly7865 on iStripper
and you use LiLly 7865 on Discord
They DO NOT MATCH

Your Nickname must be EXACTLY the Same, Plain Text, upper and lower case,

Also, and maybe just as Important.
Please Make at least 1 iStripper forum post.

The Member Search, ONLY finds members who have made at least 1 forum post.

I have a way to find Members who have NOT made any post,
use of a search Script, gets around the standard Forum Search.
But not all of the MOD's
understand Scripting or they use a different browser that doesn't support scripting.

Every time someone writes @everyone on discord you get a mention. If you have the e-mail notification for that on discord activated, you get an e-mail.
