I tried to buy premium membership so that I can make my 3k resolution videos into 4k resolution, however, the cards of cristal clear+ does not show the option called "4k", how can I fix it? am I even inside premium membership?

You should be able to see the option for Cristal Clear+ cards try to close iStripper and restart it.

@gkar45 , Yup. You will also supposedly get a Joke Card which you can use to get today's Special Event Card. I guess that's cheaper than throwing thousands of credits away on a BS scratch card game to not get a Special Event Card.

And since I do not trust Totem, or anything written by their people since the onset of their cash grab schemes and introduction of SEC in their store I can go one step further into the realm of horror and let my paranoia run wild. Just think about this bad dream - “Premium membership will be required to partake in any promotion where a Special Event Card is offered.”

Such things have not been said, but considering the company it is entirely possible that this and worse things can happen.

If not for 4K resolution, this Premium membership is only a 7-month pre-order because if you don't buy at least 60% of the next new cards within a year, you will be losing money, and extra money in Totem's pocket. So not for me !!

Any 4k you got during your Premium will remain yours. Only a refund would justify that we remove them :)

I downloaded my entire collection to 4K that is available and can not get Francys Belle 0516 and The Red Fox 0523 to complete. Both keeps aborting. All others have completed and finished.

Pay 59$ only to reduce prices such of a nonsens !!!
(no credits, one free card, and still have to pay 4/5 of the price on any card I want weekly to keep the discount).
If the premium was accompanied by credits, there would be no problem, but it's not...

I subscribed to premium and am not getting my 20% discount on any cards. I have not bought any of the new releases so they sould all be discounted from the past ten days. I synched and restarted - even rebuilt. Nothing. Can a Totem team member help please?

1) When updating the Crystal Clear+ quality shows to 4K resolution and playing on 1080 monitors, will these shows be as fluently as they were before (but more crisp)?
2) How to update to 4K?

If you already have the show in whatever resolution and want to upgrade to 4k then select that show from your 'my collection', click the resolution drop down on the card page, select 4k (if that option exists) and click ok.

The card will start to download in 4k.

If you want to get all the available 4k cards updated then in 'my collection' select "selected resolutions" and select 4k from the drop down. Shift + click all the listed cards, select 4k again at the top and then click the check mark to start downloading them all. Unless you have a real fast internet connection be prepared to wait a while...

4k cards are roughly a half gigabyte larger than the same show in 3k.

How they play on your machine depends on a lot of things such as, but not limited to: processor and memory capacity/loading and what programs are running in the background when you play them.

Also if you are watching them on a 1080p monitor I have my doubts that you will notice much difference from 3k but your machine will work harder to play them which may result in some stuttering during playback if your machine is heavily loaded or has limited resources or both.

@Williammeke: The 4K Card will run smoothly depending on the base hardware independent of the type of monitor. In my case, both Mac 2012 (2VRAM - 8 RAM - SSD - 1080p) and Mac 2018 (4 VRAM - 16 RAM - SSD - 5K) run smoothly.
In 1080p the behavior is quite good.

You can update the Cards as follows:

• Check that you have the latest version of iStripper installed
• Touch a CRISTAL PLUS + Card and in resolution you tell it to go down to 4K, if the option does not appear, vote the CARD and reload it.

If your PC has the performance to do all the Scaling of the clips, then it should be fine.

But if you don't have a powerful PC, and you are Downloading 4K clips to Play on a 1080p Screen.
The Software must ReSize Every Frame to fit your Screen. That takes Lots of CPU power.

It's always Best to Download the Clip size that Best Fits your Screen to Maximize Performance.

One Common issue with Down Sizing the Clips is Stuttering Sound.
If you are playing a Clip with Sound, and you Notice the Sound is Stuttering...
Then It probably Means your PC is Struggling to do both, Resize the Clip, Keep up the frame rate, and play the sounds.

The Premium Membership, Unlocks the 4K size, But that Does not Mean you MUST use the 4K size.
Use the Size that Performs Best for your Computer Hardware.

You will still get all the other perks that come with the Premium Membership.
For members who Buy all the cards.
