If the situation was reversed and iStripper had until now been a subscription based product equivalent to the new iStripper Premium option and Totem decided to offer an alternative "basic" package this would be just as "greedy" or "money grabbing" (as some posters have said) as the actual introduction of the premium service. In both cases the new option would suit some and not others - and some would make exactly the same complaints as we have seen about the premium service offer.

Customers problems shall be looked at still by the team, even if you aren't Premium. But, as in a train or a plane with first class ticket, you have some privileges in addition because you pay for that.
Everyone remains respected and treated equally on the forum, the rules don't change. We have already some specific marks for the Wall of Fame of the month, and the ones who get these marks are treated equally.

I appreciate this premium offer even if it cost me 59€ the year. The 20% promotion over 10 days is a good idea ( ***** forever ) and the 4K resolution is just perfect. That's not how i'll be able to stop istripper 😄.

How would you define important problems? Bug reports? those wouldn't have priority for an individual. Broken software? That is almost always on the client side unless it is a beta. There is a very little they can do if you have deleted registry files or have messed with .exe. You also have to remember that many pms come from America, during overnight hours in Paris...so they can easily be ordered by premium, then by time received, then processed the next morning.

The premium is 59$ a year with reduce prices (and other advantages). That I'm is just that we still have too buy an extra 49$ to credit account right after (or before). Can't pay a year suscription price of 500 credit plus extra 10$ without at least some credits in it (amount still to be determined) this just what i'm saying here...

I'll be debating on getting this Premium promotion until Thursday, even though i'm not a every card collector the first week of this offer does give us a Joker coupon.

That would give me a clear lane to have the Ginebra card, and after that i'm pretty much out i wouldn't have to play anymore gambling games for the foreseeable future, after looking at the upcoming girls (even ones i like) i don't see myself having to deal with the games.

@njarnb - For some of us the cost of going premium is MINUS 40 euro per year - we will actually pay less than what we currently pay. Furthermore, in order to continue to receive exactly the same product as they were getting last week NOBODY has to pay a single cent more than they used to. Why do you ***** about having an extra option.

How would you define important problems?

It could be anything... from ***** to poor purchase decisions... software errors to accidental deletions. Trying to get people to pay for preferential service is not the best way to fairly treat your customers. This on top of all that gambling, special cards media options to VR only and change of website... tends to suggest that the company is changing, and looking at the response in the forums (not the silent majority), I'd say not for the better.

I can't believe any business would offer a premium customer service option for extra cost. All customer service should be the same (and excellent) for everyone. I should say in the past that I always found the customer service to be excellent. Maybe now it will be downgraded for those not wanting to go "premium"? A really bad decision to tie any aspect of customer service to paying an additional cost.

@CrackCrazy - I see "superior customer service" offered very often by other businesses. For example "priority check-in" and "priority security lines" at airports, also priority response for servicing mechanical, electrical or software problems. I do not like or approve of these things, but they are very common.

A great many software companies charge extra for customer service. That's part of their pricing model. TANSTAFL (There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.) Some companies build customer service in as part of the purchase price. Some don't. Some companies even have alternative levels of support. If I never will need customer service, why should I pay for it? One piece of software I use, ERwin, charges about $780 per year and my client pays it because I need it. Microsoft once charged me $500 for a single support call. To this day, I resent that but I paid it.

...and there are some that mine data about our dirty little online habits and sell it to advertisers, including (!) politicians. At least we have no evidence that Totem does that! And, so long as they don't use me as "product" to boost their revenues, I don't care if they offer a whole range of optional extras.

Totem are the good guys. They tell us what they are selling and we have the option to buy or not.

Most Any Service Oriented Business these days, offer Some sort of Paid Premium service..

How about your Road Side assistance?
Top Level now Offers 15 minute or Less Premium road side assistance..
If you have the Basic, you will wait 1 to 2 hours...

I am a collector and have all the cards so far so I like the Premium Member ship.
I don't mind at all getting my cards for 11 credits. If I did not like it I would not buy
it and for sure not ***** about it.
I'm sure almost everybody has a credit card, if you have bad credit you get a low
limit and a high rate, if you have good credit you get a high limit with a low rate.
That is what business is all about.

The "premium customer service" does not indicate you are getting any extra or new services. Only that you will receive a "priority response". Hard to quantify what that is, as it is not defined in the promo. All customers should get a timely response to a service problem. Indicating anything different is foolish.

I am a collector and have all the cards so far so I like the Premium Member ship.

Well I am not a collector, nor do I have all of the cards. All of that is irrelevant since Totem has introduced their version of premium membership. At the moment it seems to be a good thing, but later I can see a lot of evil emanating from this thing. Whatever, what’s done is done and everyone will have to deal with any consequences arising.

Premium memberships, like everything that Totem does, has the approval of the silent majority in addition to that of Totem’s minions, the Apologist and the trained seals

At least we still have the option to not buy into it if we choose not to, unlike some of the other things that have been imposed upon the users

Thanks @Number6 , It actually helps ***** the boring hours when I’m not on the road. On the road there are other drivers just about as crazy as I am, adverse weather and crappy roads to contend with. And don’t forget that there is Bullwinkle, Bambi and the 3 bears. Well maybe not the bears this time of year.
