I'm trying to figure out how Totem determines the order in this clips are listed on the clip detail tab of the card details. So far, I've figured out that demos come first and clips are in order by hotness and sequence number, but that's as far as I can get. How does Totem determine the oder of two clips that, for example, both end in 202.vghd? I suspect it uses some of the clip number, but it's not Table/Standing/Pole. Has anyone figured this out?

It is Previews 1st,
then its Erotic Level, with Lowest Erotic Level to Highest Level.
With in Each level, it's Clip Number ( lowest to highest ), then sorted by Clip Type

ordered by Clip type Digit Groups
5 Digit 1st
4 Digit
3 Digit
2 Digit
1 Digit

Within each Digit Group, the Numeric order is Lowest to Highest

axxxx_TTTTTLNN.vghd
axxxx_TTTTLNN.vghd
axxxx_TTTLNN.vghd
axxxx_TTLNN.vghd
axxxx_TLNN.vghd

Previews 1st
Erotic Level ( 3rd digit from the right )
Clip Number (Two right most Digits )
Clip type Number of Digits based ( up to 5 digits on the Left )

That is my best evaluation.. of A and E series
I haven't looked at C and F series though...

The Digit Grouping Might Stop at 3 Digits as the Last Group.
Hard to find cards with enough Digit Groups to Compare...

In the pictures you can see how the file name (clip) is used to create the order in the clip list.

Each file name is divided into its components. The file names with ITxx can be ignored.

To get the clip number will be:

• sorted the DEMO files
• sorted the VGHD files

The first clip numbers are the DEMO files. (image 1 to 3)

The entire list of DEMO and VGHD files will be sorted again. The order now corresponds to the order in the clip list. (image 4)


Clip types are sorted as a string.
Here's an example:

• 10
• 14336
• 4100
• 4105
