Done. I have marked in app most of all not purchased cards as previews, so more than not 50, more than 250 )) Most of them was downloaded in 2012-2015, so usually only new demos to downloading.

IMHO:
  • iS have much more usable UI than last VG
  • iS will better in all aspects totally because have better engine
  • less "charming" of new UI is normal because much new abilities via UI already given
  • iS and int.downloader works faster than VG on old hardware and load CPU much less than VG
  • iS use 100-500 MB of RAM as all modern apps and it's OK for old PCs with 1 GB of RAM or more

What must be fixed and added:
  • iS have blur and small max size of card images on My Collection tab
  • iS have fixed girl's page layout so much space on 1920x1080 just not used
  • iS have different divisor position in layout and therefore pngs height is not same
  • iS have very small cards size (on girl's page) and various padding for purchased/not
  • iS not have yet skins feauture with documented palette directives

(About scenes I think other members know better what needed to say)

Below that I wrote after first official iStripper release and forget to post it ))

1.2.102: needed a "cosmetic" work in UI. Girl's page: purchased and not purchased cards have a different position of vertical divisor in the left frame, therefore full png images have different height (hope in future builds full pngs will displayed not in fixed small size). The cards in right frame have a different spacing between them (purchased and not) and displayed in very small size, I think nothing bad to output them in their original size 162x242 because the scrolling works fine with standard mouse weel (to users who dislike new GUI: not needed to hit the slim scroll bars, simply use a mouse weel like in a web browsers). And yes, better not fixed size of right frame, because in 1920x1080 a lot of space bottom just not used and it looks as a development version. I'm easy to use any test layout in my selection to buy, but the appearance of already purchased cards is important for me: on My Collection tab I want to see the card images in their original size (with 100% sharpness, zoom on hovered card from 100%, not to 100%) and with a little less card slots spacing, as it well done on Store tab. About left and right slides: all OK for me. Filters, searching, sorting, dropping, ordering, playing, looping - all works fine.

Who afraid to try new iStripper - really nothing to afraid, 1.2.102 works FASTER than 1.2.0.84 and LESS load the CPU. Only playing take the resources, new integrated downloader works more accurate than previous version, new GUI is light for old hardware, so you can easy update to new iStripper even on weak notebooks.

iStripper is better, it just requires some work here and there until finally it will be ready and then there will be (as always are and always sb will propose next one) some things that could be added to make it "stellar" ;)

iStripper is also a bit different as every new software edition usually is. Users have certain habits. Designers are obligated to push into future.
We have to remember that designers do everything to make software better but sometimes they see things a bit different than end users. Sometimes way, way different. 15-10 years ago I was making quite nice money only for translating end user wishes into interface project for my friends - very high class programmers; can do, can't be done back to users and countless nights I spent for finding proper ways to do this so we all could make good money from it and I am very happy that users still are using them and calling after all those years to have some small updates/changes.

From one side, as end user I would like it to be ready just now, but from my experience I know how difficult, how much time and how much frustration sometimes it takes to develop the final release...
There are always some draw backs (Microsoft tends to make things "uneasy", too), some missing or forgot details.
We just have to be patient and point their attention to them.
Some of them are not high priority for overall project and some will be seen as such.

So:
GREAT, GREAT JOB! and please go on :D

just did the survey. Since i have switched to iStripper i have actually expanded my back catalog of older shows that i was on the fence about
as the new carousel and previews have allowed me to take a better look at girls whose card pictures did not do them justice and
on more than one occasion ie. sybil , sofia ander, & dakota the carousel pose alone sold me on the cards dances unseen. Also i have
been for more active in veiwing the forum now that it is right here in the interface which i very much like. If there was any one feature that
i had to say that did not outright thrill me it would be reloading credits, but i do that through the website everything else has been in the
way of improvements i did not even know i would love until i had them. I am very satisfied.

@mujahidm810, thanks for your comments, happy to read that "featured" gives you a better vision of our girls :)
Regarding credits reload, do you mean that the "buy credits" button is not accessible enough ?
cheers

to elaborate about the credit reload function, I use opera as my browser and the "buy credits" botton in the software opens windows explorer or microsoft edge(not sure which one windows10 uses) so to get around it i just buy from the website which i have never seen as a problem, i guess as more in the way of a wish or polite suggestion if there was a way to change that browser over i would do that. overall i would like to re-iterate my high level of satisfaction.

@Mujahidm810 - you can set Opera as your default browser for W10 and then iStripper will open it.

The only bad thing I've come across so far is that I noticed under my collection that I had an update option so clicked it, not realising that I had all 900 cards selected. iStripper proceeded to "disable" all of my cards and re-download all 900 from scratch instead of just updating whichever 1 card had an update.
Took days...

Celine,

Just did the survey. Overall, iStripper is a big improvement for the Desktop mode users. But it is a disasterous step backwards for Full Screen users.

Some of us have posted this concern in the past, but we have yet to see any definite response from the team.

Does Totem intend on providing a way in iStripper to SAVE a list, then RELOAD that list, and have the cards that were ACTIVATED in that saved list at the time it was saved AUTOMATICALLY activated for use in the Full Screen mode?

Currently, saving a "playlist" and using it does not activate any cards in My Collection. Regardless of the number of cards or clips loaded from a "playlist", the Full Screen will only use ONE clip at a time. This is useless when using a Full Screen Scene that has multiple model positions for more than one clip to be displayed. The only way for a user to get more than ONE clip to play at a time in Full Screen is to MANUALLY go to My Collection and hand select the model cards. This is totally frustrating if the "list of activated cards" the user wants to use is several hundred cards (or more). In VGHD v1.2.0.84 a saved "playlist" could be reloaded and the Full Screen would use as many clips as were needed to fill the number of clip nodes in the scene file.

iStripper has TWO modes of operation...Desktop and Full Screen. PLEASE make the Full Screen mode capable (again) of using a saved "list" of model cards, the way it could be done in VG v1.2.0.84. Heck, Totem even included the default Paris Penthouse Club scenes that allowed more than one model clip at a time to be played in Full Screen, and the user could use a "saved playlist" to select the cards they wanted.

WHY was that taken away? And will it be returned BEFORE Totem ceases supporting the previous versions of VG in the next month or two?

An added thought to my above post. It doesn't neccesarily have to be a "new" way of saving or loading "lists". One possibility could be just providing an OPTION for the user to ACTIVATE the cards from a loaded playlist in the current Playlist tabs. Maybe a "one button click" in the GUI that would allow those loaded Playlists to be ACTIVATED in My Collection if the user wanted to? Currently, if they GOT activated in My Collection, the Full Screen would USE them to display more than one clip at a time in Full Screen Scenes.

Just brainstorming possible ways to "do it easily".

I did the survey. I have only ***** issues with istripper. The "new" over featured still does not go away even when I click all the cards I purchased. Other than that it runs well. I have not seen any crashes. Feature wise I think it' fine.

Just done the survey. Changed to iStripper about a month ago and just finished learning what it has to offer. Glad to see you can add to the right mouse button menu. I like to be able to move to Next Model or Outfit. I do miss the forward buttons on the carousel as I have to click on the girl. Also miss the Skins. The homepage is a bit bland. Anyway in all I think it's a great improvement.

I found that there is a new subversion, but I can't find a description of the differences. It would be nice to have an automatic background update function.
Once it was possible to deactivate all cards with one button. If it still exists I can't find it. If not, it should exist because it makes starting a new playlist much easier.
The description says I don't have to uninstall Virtuagirl for the installation of istripper, but: is it possible to uninstall Virtuagirl now that I have installed istripper and I'm sure I want to run istripper instead? I don't like remnants of unused progs on my machine.
There should be a facebook-like likebutton on the forum. It would make it easier to comment and there would be less duplicate content I think.
Thanks for answers.

On the Virtuagirlsite there's a link called "Live". I miss that on this site. I want to visit Merry Pies Livecam from time to time :)

Most annoying thing for me is that there is no way to enable / disable all cards in iStripper except to manually enable / disable every single card. Everything else seems to work and is mostly equal to virtuagirl.

Regarding your survey:

There is one question missing in the girls / buy new cars part: can our models actually strip? The short and sad answer is: no, mostly not. While i will never criticise any girl directly in the comments / rating i regret more than half of my recent purchases which is the reason i didn't buy eny credits lately.

Since there seems to be no edit function: no, i didn't actually want to buy any cars :) Guess the meaning comes across besides the typos

@VirgilTura, use the left tab filter to display the cards you want (for ex blondes from 2013) and then either use Ctrl + A to select all cards or grab them with the mouse (you have to start between two cards). Then you can use the group icons in the title of the page to activate, un-activate, delete, change resolution etc. You can also ***** and drop them to the Next section of the Now Playing tab on the right, or to the Playlist tab (on the right as well). To use a playlist, you need to save it, and then click on "Insert Playlist" in the On Stage tab.

I got ***** up on making new playlists until I realized all you have to do to watch a new card in all its completeness is ~ ***** the new card to now playing, clear Next, then also ***** the new card to next.
It will cycle through all the clips of just that card from then on provided you have Repeat box checked. So easy ! For fullscreen it replaces the old VGHD right-click wheel launch to fullscreen which used to function that way.

It may well cycle through all the clips, but it doesn't cycle through them in order (i.e., from non-nude to full nudity), at least not on my iMac in Desktop mode. Even with the Repeat box checked and the Random box unchecked, it still selects the clips at random. That's a major disappointment as I thought the new version would allow you to do that. I still find the new version to be an improvement overall, however.

done. Im a double diamond member and now I CAN'T BUY MORE CARDS because since the new iStripper they remove the CCBILL buying option that is the one that works for my in my bank.

So sad that the first weeks using iStripper have been so BAD experiencie in many levels and points...

No preview
No CCBILL
Forum inside the app
the bad design of the UI and the location of buttons and workflow.

I use to LOVE virtuagirl in my computer but now the experience in less cool and without CCBILL is useless to try to enjoy the new cards.

Don't give up on IStriiper yet. If you have a regular credit card, you should be able to buy more credits. And credits = more cards to buy. This is a good thing, because the site is a private network. This means, the credit card numbers only go to IStripper. I hope this information helps.
