sadly all those custom skins can't be used in V4. that's the reason why i stoped updating older skins or making new ones.
hopefully one day we're able again making custom skins. we will see.

Unzip to your data\skins\Virtuagirl folder. Doesn't matter where you have the data folder ;) If all else works ok, then this will too :)

I've done some using my wife.. ( I didn't show her the really naughty ones though) :) if anyone is interested I will send a link in private.. I would prefer not to have her spread all over the web :)

How do i unzip the folder after i download it. what else are u supposed to do.

WinRAR and 7-Zip are the two most widely known methods for unzipping files

Winrar has a free trial and then wants you to pay for it when the trial is done
You could probably get around that by uninstalling and reinstalling the trial

As far as what else to do....
They've been telling us how to go about it

Extract the folder into your "vghd\data\skins\VirtuaGirl" folder and you can change the skins in your Advanced settings by clicking the 'Change Skin' button

Unfortunately, all of this will soon be a mute subject
When V4 is released, there's no skins

Very handy winRAR is, I use it with Sims 2 for getting custom content.
Enjoy the skins while they last because they go obselete when V4 comes out.
Thanks to the skin creator who made all the nice skins.

ok after i unzip the file can i choose what pictures ie erotic level shots. what do i do

Lets use the most recent one for demonstration purposes.
Melisa - Play With Fire

Use the link jakalsden provided to download the zip file
I would then move it or copy/paste it to my desktop for easy access
I use 7Zip to then 'Extract to "Melisa - Play with Fire/"'
That unzips the file and places a new folder on my desktop
That folder contains the skin jpeg, logo png, thumbnail png and a version text document
I would then delete the zip file as I no longer need it at that point

Locate your appdata\local\vghd\data\skins\virtuagirl folder
You'll see a few stock skin folders in there
Take the Melisa - Play with Fire folder you just unzipped and place it in there along with the existing ones
You will then have the ability to choose that skin in your advanced settings by clicking the 'Change Skin' button

There is just one skin with no choice for explicit levels.
When choices are given, they should create a different zip file for each choice so you can just download the skin, or skins, you want.

Hello 91 I did what you said and unzipped it in my vghd folder under virtua skins and it did not show up under my settings tab

Quit and restart VG
See if it's available then

your vghd folder might be in a different place?

look at the picture to find the actual location...

don't be lazy and please post also to everyone how you do a change the skins, cardsets with TakeCommand or just Cmd, or with VBS, and post your JavaScript (innerHTML or just direct write) code becouse we all want to know how your magic is doing. no? ok. then where your work images, where your vision of the mood, where your things about CSS and how it do the magic, where you are at all itself? where your creativity?

I probably should have mentioned the location I was giving 'should' be the default location and it's quite possible it could be somewhere else. Especially if you moved it.
