Hi
I had to move my collection from the hard drive to an external drive. I changed the drive path, but the app will not load any of my purchases. Tried to deleete the app and downloaded again. Still the same problem.

Any ideas. I am on a Mac using Yosemite.

I'm also using a Mac with OSX 10.10.5 and I have my collection on an external drive.

If you would provide some more details, I'll try to help you.

1. When you said "I changed the drive path, but the app will not load any of my purchases." do you mean that your "My collection" tab in the application is now empty or that you can't download new purchases?

2. Can you open the preferences file com.totem.vghd.plist in the folder Users:(your account):Library:Preferences ? Is it readable? If so what do you see in the fields "system.DataPath" and "system.ModelsPath"? If the file opens as an unformatted HTML file it will be almost impossible to read and I can send you an AppleScript that will let you read those two values.

3. Have you tried to reregister with the Totem server by right-clicking the "Synchronize with server" button in advanced settings?

If your problem is cause by the preferences file (and it probably is) deleting and reinstalling the application isn't enough because the existing preferences file isn't changed. Double check your storage folder location in the Advanced Settings tab and check the full path, not just the name of the immediate parent folder.

I don't know Mac systems at all but Dorsai is probably correct. I believe the VG software works more or less in the same way for Mac and Windows. Chances are that Dyamaka has the 'models' folder twice in the file path. I once accidentally added the models to a NEW models folder on my external drive. I then ***** the same problem :/

On my ext drive, the pathway looks like this: My Computer > E: > Vgirls > models

When I added the extra models folder, it looked like this: My Computer > E: > Vgirls > models > models.

Then, obviously, the software couldn't find the models files. The software is only looking for the 1st models folder, NOT the 2nd :(
