Help!! I made an account on VG website and bought credits, then I downloaded VG progam and installed it.
They do not match though. I can't figure out how to get the change the VG program to match my website accounts that have credits!! I can not find where to go in the program to change it. I can log in and out on website, but I can not log out and back in with my username and password in the program!!

When installing again, you must have created a new account. Instead of registering with the existing one.

You should be able to sign in to the original account, as long as you have the username and password. Once you've done that on site, the GUI should pick up on that. If it doesn't immediately, try quitting and restarting or logging out and back in again.

You can then ignore the empty second account.

I forgot to mention that its on a mac.
I have logged out and into the wesite several times but the VG program stays with my account that i don't want!
I can not find a way to log out of the program and back into it with my account that i purchased credits with!!
I can log in and out of the website fine though.

Try this......

Go to your "Advanced" settings tab in the software GUI, right click on "Synchronize with server"(on the bottom right corner of the GUI) and click on "Register again". Register with the original account username and password at that point. That should get you what you're looking for.
