I am keen to canvas members' opinions in a series of single category Mini Polls, I would limit each poll 2 run for 2 weeks, with each voter able to nominate up to 5 names for 1 point each. This Poll is just to see what level of interest there might be. Please vote YES if at least one of the possible categories below appeals to you.

Some categories I am considering include the following, but I welcome your suggestions for others:
**Best Legs. **Best Big Boobs. **Best Smile **Fav Redhead **Prettiest Face **Best Ass/bum/derriere
Those obvious ones have been done before, but the 5 name approach may be different.
**Fav French girl **Fav "any other nationality" **Best Duo **Best Tattoos **Best Dancer **Sexiest Performer **Fav Taller model (175cm or over) **Fav Shorter model (160cm or under) **Fav 'Older' model (say over 30 yrs) **Fav Classic Model **Fav Desk Babes Solo **Fav Desk Babes Duo etc etc.

Sorry but I voted no. I see these kind of things as a pointless exercise. Each to their own, I guess but these kinds of surveys/opinions/votes do absolutely nothing for me. :(

Edit: Furthermore, I'm tired of seeing these kinds of posts. We all have our favourite models/pics. Some members seem to think that everyone else should like their favourites too. That is not cool! We are all entitled to our own opinions.

I value your opinion Hombre. That is why I asked for interest before inflicting more upon everyone. I'm not one who thinks 'everyone else should like their favourites too'. But I am interested in others' opinions. The recent 30 point poll steered me to buying many cards I would not have considered otherwise. Several Classic cards are now among my most played.
I will give it a bit more time before deciding to try a poll or two, or shelving the whole idea.

Yes, I would be interested in some polls. But it is a good idea to limit their time.

i doubt, I would contribute to a poll reaction to body type (e.b best boobs, etc). But others may be interested.

Bur a poll on best girl from a certain category (e.g. VGHD, DB or classics), may be interesting. I always though a poll on favourite cards may be interesting.

i don't think there is in ***** in having these polls every so often. After all, there are polls posted all the time.

There has long been a small consensus believing the only reason for a Forum is to ***** it with some sort of favourite item Poll, even though it actually achieves nothing, unless of course, you are the type to rely on the opinions of others.
They usually result in the over-spamming of the Forum, and significant members have left as a result of their persistent appearance in one form or another.
I certainly would not encourage more Polls, and would be happy to see much less.
We can't be far off comparing feet...( or has that been done already ? )..... BUT each to his own,,,,no-one can say the demise wasn't predicted long since..............:/

Personally, I don't particularly like polls, but as a system analyst I know that the only thing worse than asking too many questions is assuming that you already know the answers.

While it's good to try and get Members to participate on the forums.
We've had so many of these Favorite this favorite that pools. that they are worn out to me just Ignoring them all.
plus, as a MOD, they just make more work..
I have to read every one of them to make sure they comply...

I'm just not a fan of them...

The new store has the ability to sort by both rating and category. It is not quite the same as polling for best smile, or best dancer, but the rating give a pretty firm concensus of what people like. I'm sure many people don't visit the forums, but maybe rate their cards, so you had a more accurate representation, then who ever is on the forums at a given time, who feels like responding.

You make a good point @MisterWhite (wearing black! lol). I don't want to cause division in the ranks, or overload the mods, @Wyldanimal. Seems there is enough resistance to polls to give me pause.
So, for the present at least, I won't introduce any new polls.

I find comments about overloading the forums strange when the last posting in this section of the forum was 21 hours ago. It's hardly what I'd call a posting frenzy for polls or any other post.

i agree Apasas and also find some of the comments rather strange if ozbomber wants to do this then he should regardless if some users do not like them ,there are threads on this forum i dont like but i would never try to stop them,i just dont read them.
Your mistake ozbomber was asking just do it if you really want to and have fun and do not let others change your mind ,you have just as much rights to post your own ideas as they have.

You are both also correct :) I have no problems with the odd poll now and again. Some members like to discuss their favourites and that's fine. I just don't care to follow them.

However, the reason I posted at the top of this page is that sometimes, we see a flood of best this or that and they take up a lot of the space on the first community page. This means we have to dig deeper to find the other topics that interest us.

Ozbomber indicated he was maybe starting more polls in... How many categories? Personally, none of them would interest me and make browsing here more difficult. Others may like the ideas.

If you want to do some more polls I would respectfully ask that you pace them out so as not to tie up the main community page. I won't read them but it appears others might... :)

What has changed, is that ozbomber had the common decency to express his intention and request general opinions, and the answers were what they were. For that he has my respect.
The days when you and your kind did whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted, are long gone !..........
