Is it possible for a person with moderate computer skills to enjoy this website? I am very very frustrated in trying to do simple things like buy model, download to my computer, etc

Unfortunately . . there is no Dummies guide to VG. However, you can post any detailed questions to the forum and some of the members will attempt to help.
P.S. Shinola is a brand of wax shoe polish that was available in the early- to mid-20th century.
***** is most of the stuff posted on the forum! (just kidding) :)

I'm just about to translate the FAQs and i would suggest to have a look there. Click on "Help" in the menu bar above and then on FAQ. Have a look at "About the Site" and "About the Software" The explanations there might be helpful for you. Just klick on the Categories for example "About the Software " to expand all Questions from this category. Click on the question to expand the answer.

When you buy a card it is downloaded to your computer automatically per default. You should have to do nothing. Again i suggest reading the FAQ. It is a dummy guide to VG. Read all questions about the software starting with "where is VirtuaGirl on my PC" to find out how to access the GUI and how to activate it so the girls come up on your desktop. Next read all sections from "The Systray menu" to "The software interface /Advanced tab". I don't see any reason to copy everything from there. What use is a dummy guide if you don't read it and just say it's no help. If you prove me you have read it but haven't understood something in it, i'm willing to answer any questions you have.
