There was a know issue with 64 bit version .522 not playing music.

But that was supposed to be fixed with version .524

The 32 bit versions did not have the music issue.

I have Windows Media Player Version 12 installed
however it came installed with the Windows 10 PC & I never use it.

What if you now try to install the 64 bit verson over top?

I swap from Version to Version simply by Renaming the BIN folder.
So to Switch to or Install a new version
I make a copy of the Current BIN folder, and rename it to it's version
Then I can Install the New version over top the existing one.

To Switch Back,
Rename the current BIN to it's Version Number
Then Rename the Version I want to use to BIN

So it is
QUIT iStripper
Rename the BIN folders
Start iStripper

Takes a few seconds...

It has not been fixed.

"Good old" sound issue and bonus video issue getting back again are both particularly annoying issues to me, so I plan to revert to version .378 (which had eventually fixed them!!) if they will not be fixed in a very short time.

The settings ABOUT now OFC says my version is "up to date"
and won't re-install..
Everytime I have reverted to version 1.2.378 to get my music back
I've had to install the old over the new & every time I update it from website
or links here on da Forum its 64bit & has no music.

PS: this time I won't be doing .dll workaround as I did in the past.
Both the music and bonus video issue had been actually fixed on .378 -
So they can be fixed -

Clean reboot of PC..Same outcome as before..Installed from scratch ok &
it says I have version 1.2.524 / 64 bit
Windows Volume Mixer does not show an iStripper volume control at all
until I go to SomaFM and run their radio player on Firefox..
then iStripper volume control comes on also, but does not appear before
no matter what you do on the iS My Musics page.
When I leave Firefox the iStripper component of the volume slider of Windows remains
however it is only active for Girls talking , never for any music.

Issues I reported are NOT on my side. Prior of the first 64-bits update I was able to play bonus videos; moreover in version .522, while I was unable to play bonus videos, I still could hear the music tracks...

Using files provided by @Wyldanimal I installed .524 32-bit over my 64-bit version:
I got back both bonus videos playing and audible music tracks.

Then I installed .524 64-bit over the 32-bit one:
both issues are unfortunately back. They are issues of 64-bit version.

I hope this to be fixed soon, since I don't like the new interface and would then use it it mainly, if not only, in order to have a 64-bit program. But bonus vids issue and sound issue are major problems to me.

Very strange issues there.
I'm on Windows 11 64bit. When I updated to 1.2.522 64bit, I lost the videos bonus to play in the app, but I had the music. After the update to 1.2.524 64bit, the videos bonus play well in the app, and I've the music too.

Also the "former" well known sound and bonus video issues, which did last more than 1 year and were eventually fixed on .378 - were experienced not by all users, only by some. But this doesn't make them less real...
It looks that same is happening now. Not all systems have such issues, but they have to be corrected anyway - as they had on .378

Why else would the 64 bit installer revert to producing a 32 bit version of iStripper 524

It was clearly said to us that former bonus video - sound issues (then corrected on .378) were a codec problem.
Probably it's the case now too...

Version 526 installed. At least on my desktop, it installed with no problems. So far it's working ffine.

Laptop updated to 526 jut fine. So on the desktp I used "check for updates" but the laptop updated automatically. No problems with either.

I also updated to today's new version.

When referring to clicking on your pseudo-name do you mean the name in the top right corner of the GUI's window or somewhere else ? If it is that one then I have no problem with it - it brings up a drop down menu with logout as the last option in that menu just as it has done with the last few versions.

Automatic update to 1.2.526 64bit done today. Everything is ok and now my forum's GUI is in french. Thank you to the team 👍

Funny but bonus video works fine for me (64 bits) and no problem with music.

Don't know if this will help but I use the K-Lite codec pack. Seems to work very well with windows 11. I am 100 sure but it seems to use the LAV video decoder for the H264 videos on this site. I can play the videos directly or download them and play them with no problem.

Version 1.2.526 64bit : after clicking the taskbar icon to display the GUI, the software shuts down by itself and there is no error message in the vghd.log
It's the first time I see that.
