If you already have music you can add tracks through my music. This depends on what version you are running. Hopefully others can help you further. 😎

Version 1.2.514........

In the GUI (app).....click on your name, then in the drop down menu, select My Music. Then click on the musical note next to the number of tracks. This will open up your music folder on your computer where you can select the music tracks you wish to import. The tracks will show up in the music section of the GUI (app)

If you add my own music via the My Music page of the app as described by @JayZ971then it creates a link (a Windows shortcut I assume) to the actual music file. However, if that link points to a file on a different drive to the one on which iStripper is installed there is the risk that it is no longer valid when iStripper is run as the disk may be dismounted for some reason (e.g. a USB drive is unplugged). When I did this I found that iStripper was removing these apparently obsolete links causing the vast majority of the tracks I was using to disappear - and they did not reappear when I reconnected the external drive. This was a ***** as I had to reload iStripper with the music I wanted to use.

If this is a concern then you can simply copy the music files into iStripper's Data/Musics folder using the normal Windows file manager and iStripper will then automatically use them. This is what I now always do when I add any music.

It has been a long time since I did any of this other than occasionally copying a new mp3 file to iStripper's music folder, but I have no reason to think that this aspect of the program has changed.

Or just use music as you normally would. With whatever app you use. Works for me. 😎

I routinely backup the two music files that kep track of these links.
so I can restore the files if needed.

In the Data/Musics folder are two files

musics.cache
musiclist.mpl

just make an archive copy when ever you add or remove music files.

edit: File musiclist.mpl is a manreadable text file
it's one long line of text, where the full path to each song begins with a 1 or a 0 and ends with ##
the very next song path is right after the ## with no space between.
1 = it's checked and enabled
0 = it's not checked and disabled

I've written an extensive Music app that combines the use of Excel with my music / media player.
Maybe I'll code my own replacement for excel sometime.
as I only use excel to track the List of clips you own. and which song from your media library is attached to the clip or card or erotic level.
There is a default Song
There is a Song for each erotic Level
There is a Song for a card number
There is a Song for a specific clip.

So it 1st looks for a clip match, then a card Match, then a Level Match, and lastly the default File.

The file can be a Music file or a Media ( video ) clip.

It's a bit complicated. I understand it.
But to teach or explain it to someone else, is why I haven't really shared it..

I run a batch Script to discover all of my Clips.
the Script creates a Text file and saves it.

in Excel, you then Import all of the clips from this text file.
Then you do your Media File Assignments.

you start my MP4 player app
then you start the Excel app
and then you start iStripper.

Both Excel and my MP4 Player app and iStripper communicate to each other via the registry.

if there is expressed interest.
I will share it. But you have to have a full version of Excel 2010 or higher.

iStripper can loose topmost, and fall behind the Media being played.
So I will also use my iStages app to give the model a stage to stand on.
My iStages app can then be set to stay topmost, and the Model will also be topmost because of being attached to the stage.
