Bref c'est assez amusant tout cela 😊 On peut noter également qu'après un certain temps, on commence à connaitre les gouts de quelques membres qui commentent régulièrement. Ainsi certaines notes 5, me donneront l'envie de visionner le show tandis que d'autres provenant d'autres membres me feront plutôt passer à autre chose 😆

In short, it's all quite fun 😊 We can also note that after a while, we begin to know the tastes of some members who comment regularly. So some 5 notes will make me want to watch the show while others from other members will make me move on 😆

Well, how about redesigning the voting system using several metrics at same time? You can find several members doing just this in their reviews, rate per look, performance, body, fetish, etc., you name it.
A model can have overall 4.50 but we would able to see which aspect of the card was most loved by users and which not so much.

I'd personally prefer a Like/Dislike/Unrated system, along with a public 'Favourite'.

That way you can see how many people Like/Dislike the card vs how many people have actually bought it (or received it) - which to me is a more important metric. Keep comments obviously, as those are also important.

In addition, a public 'Favourite' stat would also be useful. There's a lot of cards I like, there's some I dislike, and then there's a selection that I love - and I think it'd be a useful filter when searching for shows to buy (top favourited shows).

I agree with the favoriting. Sexuality by nature is niche and a person could absolutely be obsessed with things that many other people dislike. The only reason to allow negative comments is if we assume the girl isn't trying their best or the company isn't trying their best. If both parties are doing their best then what is the point of a low score or complaint. A card with few likes or favorites will tell the company that this attempt could possibly be better without being negative.

Isn't the current ratings pretty well embedded in the system, though, for many years worth of rating data ... seems unlikely it will change. To me, it's fine and provides some good information and sorting, despite typical flaws in any rating system. Other proposals wouldn't significantly change the results to warrant a big change to the ratings systems. It would probably be better to improve some of the known issues with the current system, like duplicate ratings and maybe not a default 0 rating (rating only counts if user selects a rating).

In my opinion the rating should be kept in the user profile (my rating). In VG/DB there was a function sort cards by my rating. That was useful, the rest of the rating system is not. Some of the cards I like very much have rating under 4 which is quite unfair considering much worse cards have higher scores. All is your personal taste, sometimes you just have to disregard others opinion/rating/comments. Same goes for the comments. Just lately there was a card full of positive comments, then you say okay everyone says this card is so good, you download it and then there was absolutely nothing special to see on it (for me), in fact under average. That perfectly shows how other's opinion does not count at all. In addition, promised won't mention it the 100th time, but a facourite function would be very useful within the My Collection. No idea why it wasn't copied, it was there in the old system.

I believe that although you can submit multiple comments only the most recent rating is used.

I also believe that if you do not explcitly set a rating then it is not treated as being 0 but is simply ignored.

I am not, however, 100% certain of either of these beliefs

You don't have to comment to rate, you can just rate and submit the rating.
And 0 ratings count, there is just a bug in the store that don't show 0 ratings, but in the comments in the app you can see 0 stars.

Obviously I was speaking about users who are commenting, because I absolutely don't care about ratings without comments.
