You have bought cards from the slot machine and it shows up like this.

Can almost do it without realising, I did once, just moving the cursor over a buy button on the way to where you want the cursor to be, and a very slight press at the wrong moment. Keep the cursor well away from buy buttons - unless you want to buy of course.
