I saw too many member pass on this Reload before,
then they are out of credits and ended up buying at the regular price..

I think, if you need credits, take advantage of the 20%.
cause later, when the 20% is over, you'll probably reload and pay full price...

My Guess is because it is a Game of chance,
There is No Guarantee that anyone will win from Spinning the Slot machine.

If there is no Mega Jackpot Winner

In my humble opinion.....
Makes no sense not to offer the 1000 if I can buy the 500 twice.
Customer is deinsentivized to buy the 500 and wait till the 1000 is posted again.
I think ive inquired on this once before also due to getting dinged with transaction fees for every purchase.
Seems like it would be in Totems interest to offer the larger bundles to get the customer to invest more and avoid multiple transaction fees.

Just a correction...

The higher offer during some of the reload bonus offers is
1100 credits for 99.99 Plus a 20% reload bonus of 220 credits.
Total is 1320 credits
That works out to 0.076 per credit. ( 24% off )

The Normal top credit offer is
500 credits for 49.99
That works out to 0.10 per credit.

So normally, 1320 credits would be, 1320 x 0.10 = 132.00

I think they don't loose anything, since credits are not real currency and their price is totally arbitrarily decided by the company itself (and moreover, ordinarily too, they are offered with four different prices). It's instead likely that, during such an offer (since it happens - besides - only very few times in an year), many people will be willing to make quite bigger "credit purchases" than usual, spending on them more of their "real money" than they usually are likely to do here - so giving some benefit to the company rather than a loss.

Yes it is really true except for a small "cost of money." Since this occurrs infrequently it encourages customers like me to put money in the Totem "bank" sooner than we would otherwise. This means that Totem has the use of our money sooner and can reduce the amount of money they must borrow for operations or they can put that money in a real bank and earn some interest.

Second, this is a way of locking in customers. We wouldn't use this offer if we didn't expect to be here long enough to use those credits.

Finally, it's a reward to customers who are willing to commit to a longer term association with Totem. $32 - the interest we could earn or avoid by using that money for something else.

the Only time Totem Makes Real money, is from a Member Purchasing Credits.
A Member exchanges REAL money for Credits, which can then be used to acquire licenses to view the cards.

You are Correct that the Credits, after having been purchased have no external monetary value.
Totem does not make any money when member use their Credits.
They Only Make Money when Credits are Purchased.

This is correct. The benefit that Totem get from us spending credits is indirect, it brings us closer to the point that we have to spend real money.

As for when ... it is totally random for us the members. Totem are not going to tell you in advance when they will give away credits. it could happen any time but with the current 500 bonus, dont expect 1100 any time soon
