nope. 7 cards as usual.
It takes a bit longer because of the pre-order of this month. Each time we release a new card, it's instantly added to hundreds user collections and this has the effect of delaying the release a little.

As I already said:

Maybe a little more XXX cards have been recently released. But they are "new" xxx ones... so they have now way fewer xxx content: usually only 3 clips and in some cases even only 2 or 1... so they are more like "ordinary cards with benefits".

Some of those "new" xxx cards, indeed, could once have been easily labeled as ordinary cards (once many ordinary cards used to have one or two xxx clips).

So, as a matter of fact, way LESS xxx content overall is released now than it was once, at times when Deskbabes or XXX cards were composed almost only by xxx clips.

I like xxx content, by the way, so personally I would get quite upset if in the future on Istripper there would be even less xxx content than we get now.

MYSTERY ENVELOPE doesnt work for me, does nothing when I click on add to collection, am I missing something or is this yet another TGIF offer that i cant take part in because I own almost all cards (just missing the latest 45).

does this mystery envelope has those oldest low resolution shows? As they dont display properly on my HiRes screen, I have to pass.

@plrage , I am not from the team, but since no one has yet satisfactorily answered your straightforward question, I will offer an explanation.

The month of July was a month in which all of the cards could be bought and pre-paid for. Now since a portion of the membership that are not inclined to buy iStripper XXX cards (such as myself) bought into the offer, Totem is taking the opportunity to shove the XXX branded cards down our throats. I don't mind some things being ***** down my throat, but iStripper XXX cards are not one of those items.

The month of August should restore balance to the cards being offered.

It's the same with the better outfits (in my opinion) being used for XXX branded cards, trying to entice a non-fan into buying something that she does not want.

a lot of the models releasing have already released their non xxx shows and those are usually first.

Here is my unsubstantiated opinion.

1. Few girls are doing just 6 regular shows anymore.
2. Girls get paid more to do xxx, so I believe girls want to do the max shows they are allowed which seems to be 4/6 shows.

So rather than there being a conspiracy it just so happens that only a few recent girls declined xxx, and the ones that are willing do more xxx than not. Totem still has a large backlog of xxx as well so they are trying their best to keep it even. That is my hypothesis.

Going by that unsubstantiated opinion, Totem is potentially losing income from the excess of XXX shows, if, as you have written, the girls get paid more to do XXX cards.

The end user is paying the same amount for iStripper and iStripper XXX cards even though Totem pays the performers more for doing XXX.

Whilst your statement is probably true, going back to the days of Deskbabes I think the Solo cards where the same price as the standard VG cards but the duo cards were more expensive.

Strange as it may be for me to agree with @orclover I think he is marginally correct. The girls probably charge a nominal amount for solo xxxx but more for a dual card. As a personal opinion I am guessing that Totem can swallow the additional solo XXX costs, particularly as they keep producing them.

One last thing....xxx cards in theory offer more to more customers. If a person doesn't like xxx they can delete clips 18 and 19 and still have 17 clips. Regular cards do not offer as much, if a person really wants to see the model perform an orgasm or play with a toy they are out of luck. This no doubt drives down sales of regular cards. There is a reason so many people want to see a Li Moon xxx card. It offers something different but also the same as the regular cards. She dances, stripteases but then does more for the same price. The anecdotal evidence seems to say that xxx sells very well as even displeased customers can just delete what they do not like...like how I delete all glass and swing clips, rather than skip the card.

I don't know why they are releasing more XXX cards recently they haven't said anything to the QA Team or moderators that I am aware of.

I can tell you though there are quite a lot of cards in the production process, of both sorts 😜

Same here. I do have pretty terrible luck, but the odds of not winning that card are getting pretty bad at this point, There has to be something wrong with the odds of the last few scratcher events in regards to the special event cards. Guess I'm destined to never have that Ginebra Bellucci card since I've already ***** too much money trying to win it and I'm done. The staff really needs to look into the issue, I bet the stats for people who have won card are significantly less than the other special event cards, or at least in the scratcher games.

As a whole, the amount of xxx content now released is FAR less than the one we did get at times of Deskbabes and old XXX cards: cards which were composed almost TOTALLY by xxx clips.
Now a XXX card has ordinarily as few as 3 such clips, and also we saw in many cases only 2 or even 1.
So, who doesn't like xxx content has just to delete, or ignore, only a couple of clips; clips which, instead, are very much appreciated by many other people.

Nobody in this thread has, at least in the last couple of days, said that there is an excess of XXX content though some, like you, have expressed their own preferences one way or the other. But recently there have indubitably been more iStripperXXX cards released each week than there have been non-XXX cards. A few weeks back the bias was in the opposite direction while before that there was a more stable ratio between the two types of cards. Some of us wonder if the change is a permanent one or just a statistical fluctuation. I hope it is the latter, possibly induced by the current pressure on the release process that @Rex has referred to in another thread.

Obviously everyone is free to express his/her own preferences.

But recently there have indubitably been more iStripperXXX cards released each week than there have been non-XXX cards.

Subject of my post was simply to point that, also indubitaly, there is way less xxx content included in each XXX card than it once was; so, as a whole, the total amount of xxx content released nowadays is still far, far less than the one which was released some years ago, even if there has recently been a little increase in the number of XXX cards released.

Both of these are true, You were talking about there being less XXX content overall, but the post that you were replying to was talking about the number of shows. There seem to be some people who will not buy a card if it is known to have XXX content, just as there are some that only buy such cards.

XXX is important for a few reasons.

#1. dancing in the erotica/porn world is relatively rare. Almost no productions involve dancing. Most involve b/g or solo work though. So hiring a girl like Liya Silver to dance for 5 hours is not a good idea. Allowing her to dance a bit and then do what she is familiar with is much better.

#2. XXX offers a sales boost to late series cards. Take Li Moon for example... here are her cards and the # of votes which is a ROUGH estimate of sales.

1191= 182 votes
1192= 114 votes
1194 = 196 votes COSPLAY
1193= 88 votes
0486= 136 votes XXX

This is a fascinating set because we see the normal big votes on the first card and then the normal big drop to the 2nd card. But totem is getting creative and so to fight the continual drop they add in a cosplay card. This drives votes back up. Then we see a massive drop in card 4 which is normal and then another spike for the xxx. Without the cosplay or xxx the popularity of the set likely would have dropped to 50% of the first card. This is the challenge for totem. To keep interest in a set strong for all 6 cards.

DISCLAIMER: This is in no way scientific. Votes does not mean sales but after looking through hundreds of cards there is a pattern that occurs...votes drops with each subsequent card, even if time is equalized. Many sets drop by as much as 50% from 1st to last card. Outfit probably has as big of an effect on sales as xxx which is why the cosplay outperformed everything.

The cosplay card of Li Moon probably had more votes than anything else because it was advertized like crazy and still is. It also has by far the worst average vote of any of Li Moon's cards by almost a quarter of a point.
