Is there any way for me to watch these VR shows that does not entail me buying expensive hardware that I have no other use for? I do not have a smartphone so the Cardboard option counts as expensive hardware. Obviously any such option would not give me the full immersive experience, but I would like to have some idea of what the shows looked like.

@TheEmu They are in SBS format so you could view them on a 3d display or do the crosseyed thing (good luck with doing that for 10 mins). I believe there are sample videos you could check.

This works just fine for me.
I use a device similar to a cardboard, but my smartphone is not able to play the iStripperVR demos in 1080p (I can get them to play with VLC player smartphone app). And DeoVR recommended on the site doesn't work at all, because it's not a real google cardboard. Other 3D movies work fine with my smartphone.

No TGIF this week? All right, I get to save some credits and save on some network charges too.

One of the few weeks where none of the releases really appealed to me. If you own the new Red Fox show then you own all of these. I feel like just taking the summer off and then check back in September- maybe pretty girls will make a comeback.

Totem is a French company, so TGIF promotions don't usually reflect holidays that are specific to the U.S. (e.g. July 4th, Thanksgiving). However, I keep expecting a promotion that splits the difference between July 4th and Bastille Day (July 14th) such as "20% off select cards featuring girls wearing red, white or blue". (To reflect the French flag, that would probably read, "blue, white or red".)

They could also have a Sexy Goose Game to represent storming the Bastille with the reward being an appropriately themed cosplay card. In fact, a likely card in the queue would be Erin Flame's "Romantic Age" card, since the Romantic Age started with the French Revolution in 1789. Erin's wearing what Adam Ant might have worn if he'd been a woman and skipped the face paint. (Yeah, I'd probably play the Goose Game for that.) Next Friday we'll see if Totem was thinking along the same lines. 😎

only that it did not suit you. We can be certain that at around a hundred people (those that show up every month in the Hall Of Fame Largest Collection Awards with full collections (a little low this month but sometimes upto about 150) and many others that perhaps only collect 3K or 3K+1080p cards or whatever will have found this offer attractive enough to have accepted it as it costs them nothing, And that is only counting those that would probably have bought all July's cards anyway - the existance of the offer will have no doubt induced others that would normally have skipped a few cards to have bought them all instead. If it works for Totem then it is not useless.

I wouldn't say it was useless; Totem probably got lots of people to buy stuff they didn't want. I have no problems with any of the girls in the calendar but unless you blindly buy all the cards or you are a yes man then then the exclusive cards are not really an offer but really a test of your willingness to compromise.

Totem is obviously trying to figure their way back into the subscription model; hopefully they'll figure out a way that doesn't continue to exclude members who wont be bullied into buying a subscription. In the mean time there are many more lovely ladies that non subscription members can actually buy and more on the way!

If the anniversary of the Marquis' release was yesterday, then clearly Totem should have released Stella Flex's "Black Widow" card or Veronica Leal's "The Devil Inside Me" card a day earlier. 😈

For those having issue to play VR shows on their smartphones I had some contact with the team to try to fix that. But it seems every phone will have unique issue (sometimes framerate, sometimes frame size, sometimes bit rate, etc) so it seems impossible to find a common compatible format. In my case I have to re-encode them in 960p at 30 fps. I do that with Handbrake software that is free. It's a bit annoying but I wait to have some and process them in a batch. To be honest even if 3D VR is cool, I mostly watch them using the solution suggested by Wyldanimal. It's quite immersive too. Of course switch off the lights.

For me the VR shows are a lot to expensive.
I get an iStripper card, most of them longer than 30min, for 13,75credits. For a VR show I have to pay 30credits for only 10min.
The VR shows must be at least 60min long for me, that I would pay 30credits.
