Nice to see packs offered every so often

I just wanted to see what was in the Secretary Pack and it automatically purchased them for me. I did not want the pack, I opened a topic in Bugs & Fixes. Beware, I never clicked anything remotely resembling "buy these cards", I just clicked "Return to Your Collection", and it made the purchase for me. I am not happy.

If you don't buy cards for 3 years then all of these offers will be worth something. You could just wait to buy a card until it is on discount in one way or another.

I thought I read the notice correctly, but I must be mistaken, I am always careful with these promotions, because I have seen other members claim they purchased without knowledge or intent. I hope you can eliminate these cards from my collection, as I did not want them. Thanks again for a swift response.

I have discovered a problem with this sale or the software.

My collection is too large for me to be able to benefit from this offer.
But a few minutes after discovering that in the GUI ( sorry if that is wrong) the software pinged a little box on the bottom right of my computer screen telling me to check out this offer.

Members of this site who have large collections have always ***** about specials that are targeted at persons who do not have a full or close to full collection of cards.

These people with the large collections called themselves Totem's “best customers”, which may ave been true when they were buying cards because cards were available to them, but now they are not the best customers.

The best customers are those of us who have nowhere near a full collection and that have the ability to add to our collection.

@Chicsans is completly correct. Typically a business makes special offers to encourage people to make more purchases than they otherwise would so these offers are targeted towards new customers and those that buy relatively little. There is no need to encourage those that already buy regularly and have almost everything so why waste time, money and effort to get them to do something that they are going to do anyway.

A simple example from another sphere of business - banks and utility companies often ofer us inducments to change to them, but they do not reward those who loyally stay with them because there is no profit in doing so.

Chicsans is also right in saying that we triple diamond members are not Totem's best customers, we buy at most at roughly the same rate that Totem release cards, the best customers are still actively building up their collections and buy at a faster rate, some at a much faster rate, and the very best are those that are doing this while still paying full or almost full price. We triple diamonds have already probably benefitted from amnay special offers in the past (I certainly did) andwe are still getting a very generous reward in the form of a large discount for our past behaviour - I, for one, am very satisfied with that.

No complaint from me on that account. I'm satisfied with the discount I benefit from. I could even add that I'm happy also when I don't like a model or an outfit - it gives my wallet an opportunity to breathe a little! Unfortunately so, many new models are really really gorgeous... ;)

The Secretary Pack is greyed on my GUI and the button is not active : it's because I have all the cards of this pack, or there is a bug ?

I am not sure what is meant by the comment by Ullubu that "triple diamond members get nothing."
I am a double diamond member and if I wanted these cards I would get the discount off each pack plus the discount for being a double diamond member.
Is the complaint that members with very big collections already have these cards, on offer, in their collection so there is nothing for them to buy to be able to take advantage of the pack discount?

Finally after three (long) weeks the slot machine is finished.... Anyway, week after week I hope for the return of the Cashback Weekend, the best "TGIF" sale of all (for me). 😉💰👍
