Ive recently recovered from a computer crash which required a reinstall of the OS, leading to the loss of all data on that drive. I have slowly been re-downloading all my cards, only to find out that my favorite model (Divine) is no longer available for download. :(

I have read through the forums a bit and I know that she has requested her cards be taken down and that you are supposed to request a refund for her cards if you cannot get them, but I don't really want to replace her with another model. I would much rather get divine back.

So my question is... What is the likelihood of her cards being available again for re-download to members who have previously purchased her cards?
If there is a chance of them being available in the future I'll wait and get them again when they are. But if its known for sure that they never will be available again I may as well put in for the refund.

Also if there are any other means of me re-reacquiring her cards, that information would be greatly appreciated.

There is still hope. Totem were disputing the rulings which lead to the removal of the two modrls cards.

The last I heard this was still ongoing but it has been sometime since this information came out.

So it is up to you if you want to wait and see or go for a refund.

Yeah that's why I had asked, I have read about the dispute, however I could not find anything all that recent about the issue. but I'll wait for now and hope that I haven't lost her for good.

Actually, unless you have no means to buy credits anymore, what's the point to wait? You have cards that you can't enjoy, you don't know how long it will take, if ever, to restore the lost shows. I would say get the refund now, enjoy some new cards that play and if Divine's is available again just buy some credits and get her again.

Any chance you can recover lost data from the original drive that failed?

In general if you Crash a Drive and must start from scratch, it is recommended to buy a new Hard drive.

----- Unfortunately, it sounds like a format the disk without a software backup solution. (in very rare cases the data might be recoverable using Linux software at lower layer levels not likely in this case).

xx==unless you have the crashed Hard drive that has not been reused, your chances of recovering extremely low.

zzzz.... you might be able to find someone on the web that has the files you want (for backup purpose) you would still need to know where to copy/paste the files to once you got them.
