I too love the sounds. I don't mind if they're not in all the clips, but I don't think it should be restricted to just explicit ones. There are a few clips right now where the models speak and tease, and that's just cool.

@Rex - I'm in agreement with @apriestly. Some of the clips where they take a moment to talk and laugh are things I really wish I could hear. Actually came to this thread hoping to find a way to turn that on.

I can see why some people may want to turn off sound for certain clips (e.g. some people get offended by "dirty talk"); add that to the list of "reasons why people want more control over which clips are played." Turning sound off across the board for certain categories of clips doesn't really address the problem.

Thanks for the info Rex. Personally I would prefer sound (focused on speaking) also in the non explicit clips as it add to the experience when you can hear the girls tease and play.

Now I know many of the girls don't speak English so I don't expect sound in every clip. But limiting sound to only the level 4 or 5 clips in general is not a good approach.

Then Gardner address the important question of control. I know this is a tricky subject and maybe one solution would be to be able to select sound for each level to start with and see how that works. This way we at least can decide what level clips we want sound for :) ...I for one might want sound in the low level clips but not the level 4 and 5... (I love hearing the tease and play but sometimes all the fake moaning sounds are a huge turn off)

Put sound in ALL the show clips. You started with sound, now you must finish and go all the way, all or nothing.

Just for example Ariel and Bianca lightly sexy clips are so cute because of the sound. Put sound on (almost) all clips or on none. I don't want only to hear moaning but also laughter and talking to us. It's ok if there are some clips with no sound. But not only sound on x-rated clips. I like clips like the ones mentioned or Sandra Sanchez in her not explicit clips talking and teasing us"You like my boobs?" Or Walleria in her lightly sexy clip: "Hallo I'm Walleria and i want to show you my body" This is just great. Would really appreciate that for Vgirl too btw.

I love the Sound in the "lightly Sexy" Clips, when the Girls talking and laughing. The Sound in the "X-rated" Clips is okay too, but sometimes it sounds like Darth Vader.
But the more Sound you put into the Shows, the better they are!

it was a very pleasant surprise to hear the ladies voices not only random moaning.
And i love the sound of walking heels without that the huge price increase is very less enjoyable.
Daria Glover Solo naughty talking had set an even higher level of erotism for me.
Almost more explicit with her speech as with her moaning and performance.
Also i really enjoy the laughter from the ladies especially in the clips.
I think we had enough from mute teasement..almost unbelievable spending so much money for soundless action.
After all the chaos caused,we don't need more bad surprises.
Totem should concentrate of adding more content not removing key features just right after the start..don't you dare even think about removing that now,..after we had just started to enjoy that.
With the sound all deskbabes clips even with less explicitness might be worth the higher price..without it's too expensive to get them all very quickly.
sounds need some fine-tuning though..because they also influence not only sensual clip performance..very likely some very load duo moaning can almost break the speakers.
Want to have sound mixer..very likely a global setting would not fit in all systems.

On Windows 7 you have Deskbabes in the system sound mixer. At least in version 1.0.4.65 :) Not sure if it's the same on other OS.

That said the sound is most often VERY low compared to ex compressed music so you need to adjust the sound settings to even out the levels...

Please have sound and especially the talking and laughing in all shows, preferably also in all clips.

@Rex:Please, Please, Please! I know you normally stick to your decisions even if we all protest like with the recent topic vs hottest topic but please this time listen to your customers.
I would probably have bought all cards above 20 by now if they would all feature full sound.
So it will increase your sales if you include sound in all clips.

@rex Please give us more sound, you have no idea how dissapointed I was after I had downloaded Ariel's solo only to find there was no sound at all! Any way of adding it would be awesome. :-)

I think that all of the DB clips, and maybe even the Level 5 VG clips should have sound all the time.

The Application Software, has the choice for Sound or No sound. So the user can decide to hear it, or not..

I know from being in the QA, that during some shoots, there were problems with unwanted noise, so for those clips the sound had to be removed.
But as the Sound stage becomes a regular part of filming, I'm sure there will be less and less problems.

Please keep sounds in all clips. It does not matter what Language the Models speaks. She doesn't have to speak English to keep the sounds. What is important, is that it is natural and not faked. Let her show and vocalize her natural excitement.
She can talk to the audience and express what she likes, and how she would like to be touched etc...
It becomes a more immersive experience.

Maybe it doesn't have to be in the Demos, or only have sounds in One Demo clip as an attraction to entice the user to purchase the full card.

But As long as there are no sound troubles during filming,

MY VOTE is to keeps the sounds in all clips.

It might need a little more work and better discipline around the set but it adds such a rich extra dimension to the finished product.

There may be a few teething troubles (such as Misa wearing the clunkiest shoes in the world in her Eufrat duo or disembodied offstage voices) but the overall effect is hugely positive. As has been pointed out the user has the choice of whether to play the sounds or not and, given the huge size of these shows, the addition of audio on all clips would only add a relatively tiny amount ot the overall size of the download.

As the capability is available and has been shown to work, then please add it to as many clips as possible.

The addition of sound seems to be a popular one, and i would have to agree that i myself am very much enjoying it.
Even if the girls dont speek english more talking would be realy nice as it adds to the fantasy aspect, Plus more playfull laughing and giggiling would be nice aswell.

I'd love to hear the sounds in all of the clips. I would also love for them to amplify the sounds so you can hear them properly as they are so quiet. In addition, it would be great to have separate volume controls for the sounds and the music player so that the sounds can be adjusted loud enough to hear over the music or at what ever contrast is preferred. So, since we can shut it off or on anyway, I say PLEASE at least add it to all of them, even the current ones and then we can just redownload them with it. Please do amplify them so we can hear them too.

I vote to keep sounds on all clips! Who cares if they can speak english or not. Personally I love a girl with an accent and it was fun to hear them talk dirty to each other and the veiwer! and for those that don't wants sounds on the clips they always have the option to turn the sounds off. So I vote to keep sounds on all clips.

I was really charmed the first time Mily Jay came on stage and introduced herself.
Please more talk and teasing from the girls, even if i don't understand what they are saying

Regarding the size of the cards i do not care about their size or space on my HD (if I need I buy a larger one). Hear the sound of them is worth the sacrifice.

I vote for sounds as well, even though at times I have need to mute them. Not because I don't want to hear them... more because I can't have other people hearing them. ;)

But yeah, I vote for sounds all the way. I love it when I hear them walking across the stage and all of the talking and laughing and moaning and such. It makes it that much more fun to watch.

I am really enjoying the sound available on Deskbabes. I would agree that it might be better to keep it to the most explicit and hearing them talk/tease, but I personally really love hearing the girls kiss - if there was any way to keep that it would be amazing.

I would be willing to pay more than 3 credits for a card with all sound and make a disctinction with how work in the sound studio works out.

Yes, definitely sound is good, but sure we need option to mute it.

If you mean mute it temporarily for example just for one clip then you're right that this would be nice to have it in the shows context menu like the repeat option.

Wow! it sounds like an all vote for yes for sound. Sound in all shows and clips is what makes Deskbabes unique from Virtuagirl and I stand by my vote for yes for sound in all shows and clips.

Starryk, thanks - I saw it :) - that option is placed into music group and I never looked there, because I never had interest in music player of VGHD.

I was surprised to hear that VOICE SOUNDS "were not added" to "every" DeskBabes' CARDS along with the DEMO CARDS.

The question of VOICE SOUNDS and MUSIC capabilities were discussed long ago in the VirtuaGirlHD FORUM.

Back then (and now) I was a very strong supporter for VOICE SOUNDS and MUSIC. Even Totem's original VG had "some" VOICE SOUNDS (although to a very, very limited degree). Then that very limited VOICE SOUND just disappeared in VG2, SS2 and VGHD.

I hope it is not to late for Totem to ADD the VOICE SOUNDS to the already existing DeskBabes' CARDS.

My vote is for more sound.

However, there are problems.

I have noticed an audio/video sinc problem with some of the cards. Walleria slaps her ass in one but the slap sound comes a full second or more early. Anyone else notice this? I assume that's a production problem since it's not present in all shows.

Some of the background noise is very bad. In at least one of the Sarah Natalia Duo clips, there is creaking noise from what ever they are sitting on. Seems like they could be put on something a little sturdier. The shoe clumping is ***** too. Wouldn't mind light noise from the shoes but is very loud with the current sound mix. I'm sure you could put some kind of mat down to help mute the shoe sounds some. I heard birds chirpping in the background of one of the clips, which isn't necessarily bad, but they were somewhat out of context.
