If you haven't downloaded that show recently you should check if you got 24 clips or only 21 in the models/a0167 - Folder.
I had 21 clips and just deleted and redownloaded that show to try if it still works and because i wondered about the fact that it says 24 clips in the shows profile.
I checked www.civxl.net and there also 21 clips are described not 24.
I don't know when the clips have been added and i also don't know when i last downloaded that show. The changed-Timestamp of the files was the 10th November 2009 but i'm not sure if i really downloaded it then. I definitely own the show longer then that. Anyway it might be worth a look.

I have Jana H/Californian suit showing 24 clips downloaded on 2009-10-20.
However you have me wondering now. There were some cards that downloaded with error however they play. I haven't checked their completeness. Could it be that...?

@EverthangForever: In this case i have Junungers site to back me up on my opinion that there have been only 21 clips before.
But of course it could be that an incomplete download also leads to not all clips of one card in your collection.

I just looked and I have 21 clips downloaded on 10.04.2009 and 3 demo files downloaded on 12.05.2009.

So much about checking before release.
Though in that case it might actually be interesting.

I guess that these old reprocessed cards doesn't go through the Q&I before release... If this is the case there might be plenty of more mistakes out there...

I found another card that is totally off in matter of file size.
Carmen Gemini - Majestic view.
Took 238 MB on my hard drive. Website says it's 354MB.
Download it right now.
Indeed the file size is 354MB now.
The number of clips has stayed the same here.
However the quality is now that of the new format so the hair looks much better now.

Looks like another possible reprocessing... this one is among the cards I have listed in need of fixing.

If they have fixed it the file 68107 should be renamed 410x...

Also downloading...

Clip 66304 on the Jana H card is crashing VGHD. All the others play fine.

a0167_66304 is a very nice climb up taskbar clip I would not want to be without & thankfully it does not crash my PC.;)

@jununger & @starryK, can you pls let us know your comparisons when you've completed downloading?

I copied the clip from my back-up folder, its working again. I'm not sure how that happened, it downloaded with no errors.
We've got plenty of this to look forward to over the next few weeks....cant wait lol!

well as i said above Carmen Gemini - Majestic View has been reprocessed in the new format.
Another candidate might be Nesty - Cheerleader. Problem is i have this card relatively new in my collections so the file sizes match.
But 330MB seems to be a bit large for 33mins of show. Sexy sunday is 35 minutes long and has only 268MB. But i can't confirm that one.

Carmen Gemini - Majestic view (321)

This card have also been reprocessed... most of the file names have been changed. Not had the time to check if theres any changes made but it looks like the problem with the old 68107 doesn't seams to be fixed...

Props & amount of image close-up may affect comparisons of diectory size that way also.

Haven't checked the Nesty card but it's obvious this one has been also been reprocessed. 300+ MB is to large for 30 min in the old format.

I'm through with checking.
What i did? Comparing the duration of the show to it's filesize.
I found no more cards that look suspicious that way.
So it looks like only 3 shows have been reprocessed.

Thanks for the info StarryK. I have the Nesty card downloaded late October 2009... then it was 329MB but since the card originally was released back in May 2008 much can have happened since then...

After watching and comparing the explicit clips of Majestic View i can confirm that they didn't use the reprocessing for more editing. Looks like they took the original clips and just ran them through the new software.
So i can recommend to redownload Carmen as she looks even hotter in the new file format.

It would have been nice if Totem had seen fit to announce that these old shows had been reprocessed though.

It makes me wonder how many other old shows might have been reprocessed without us knowing.

Edit: re-downoladed and watched the three cards in question.

Carmen Gemini "Majestic View" (a0321)- it seems the clips are the same apart from a couple of ***** edits, but have been renamed.

One renaming error I've noticed is that clip 64201 (a topless clip) has been renamed as 64107 - so it is now classified as "no nudity" although it is still topless.

Nesty "Cheerleader" (a0234) - I don't see any difference at all. Clips are still relatively poor quality and have an obvious blue line around them.

Jana H "Californian Sweet" (a0167) - changes are as described by jununger above, but there are another couple of labeling errors. 64106 and 64107 are pole dances, but clips starting with 64 are usually standing clips without the pole.

Ok so Nestys show has NOT been reprocessed.
Reduces the number to 2.
@Spacephantom: I'm quite sure that there are no more shows as i looked through the description of all shows and compared duration with file size.
In general you can say this
Old shows
20 mins - around 150-200MB
30 mins - around 200-250MB
40 mins - around 300-350MB
New shows
20 mins - around 250-300MB
30 mins - around 350-400MB
40 mins - around 450-500MB

I hope you see the difference and how one can find these assuming that at least the show overview page has been updated.
Note that duos have a larger file size obviously. The values given above don't apply to duos.

Agree....there should be a thread detailing any shows that are re-processed.

The California suit show was one of my very early purchases. I checked the show under the options tab, and noted that the "download full show" was NOT ghosted out as is normal for a show I have already downloaded. Without deleting the existing show, I clicked the download full show tab, and a show is now downloading.

Perhaps any shows that have been re-processed will also show this trait.

Looks like you didn't delete the show before the new download.
You still have some old clips that are gone now or have been renamed.
