Well *****, good thing I didn't renew my Premium Status @ $60 the other day. I thought about it but this hobby is hard enough to afford as is and I'm not in the best of finacial status. I keep up my collection because I don't want it to get behind. All I'm missing of the Istripper cards is some SECs but I still have a bunch of old Virtuagirl cards not collected yet. Standard cards cost me 13.75 currently with the overpriced "special" cards costing 16.50 (many of which leave me questioning why they command the extra price). So now in order to keep up with my collection I'm now going to be paying 15 credits each and cosplay will be 17.50? Are credit card and paypal buyers going to be given a better deal than the 600 credits for $50 on bonus sales? Because this is starting to sound like something becoming unaffordable for the same standard product already being offered at a lower rate. It just seems illogical that your company costs have inflated considering there is no physical product or shipping. It's all digital and can be deleted at the push of a button. Are we getting bigger porn stars like Angela White or Lana Rhoades? Or is it because the big bosses in the company need a second yacht or a 4th vacation to Dubai next year? The 50% off thing is better than my current 45% but is it really when it will cost me an additional 37.50 credits per month? When I had premium I was paying 11 credits each so this is going to be an additional 4 credits each or 120 per month for the same product offered at current rates. Fyi, increasing prices on the same exact product is not good business sense. You should be offering a better product to match that increase otherwise you lose customers en masse. Does this seem right to you?

To Point Nr. 2.

First of all i always synchronized my Data Directory with rsync since i started to modify
the iStripper Client wit Custom images, Skins and Fullscreen Scenes.

I talked about the whole "rebuild Collection Process" here,
https://www.istripper.com/de/forum/thread/36697/4?post=759857
including the use of rsync, and here is a short recap for it.

  • Install the Software and start it.
  • Go to Settings, tick the "Advanced Settings" Box.
  • Make all adjustments step by step within the Settings in first place.
  • Copy back your Animation Files (iStripper Shows) from your Backup.
  • Set up your Data Path as next.
If you have more than one Location for your Animation Files let me know,
because then i have to go into more Details how to get this done in POL.
  • Go to Settings and click now on "Rebuild Collection"
  • You will see that the iStripper Logo in your Taskbar will turn into a spinning circle.
  • Wait for it until you can see the iStripper Logo in your Taskbar again.
  • If you go now to "My Collection" you should see all your Shows, including an Update
    Sticker on all of them.

I described how to get rid of them behind the Link i have given you.

Unfortunately and at least on this POL/iStripper Setup there is a small downside for this method
which i wasn't aware of it before, but i will come to that later in a separate comment.
The button is stuck on NO and can't be moved to YES with cursor, Tab, or Y.
Tab or Y is usually used in an NCurses environment,

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ncurses

and i can't recall that it was ever used within the iStripper Software since 2018 at least.

But i have to admit i'm missng this Installation method for Ubuntu, since Canonical removed
this special ISO Image from their Servers with Ubuntu 18.10. Because in compare to the Graphical
Ubiquity Installer it never crashed and never made any problems.

So like i said NCurses was never a thing for me within the iStripper Client.

    To Point Nr.3.

You can see these Visual flashes in the Video i have provided for you.
For now you can swith to GPU rendering within the Settings to avoid this.
But i still can't recommend that,
    https://www.istripper.com/de/forum/thread/36697/4?post=759913
and here is the other workaround for that, to not bother with the Desktop mode any more.

Every time I take a survey for how to improve iStripper, my answer is always the same...NOW especially more than ever, it should come to fruition if iStripper wants to be FAIR TO THEIR CONSUMERS.Every time there is a show with poor video or audio quality, simply saying "Sorry" and charging full price is a HUGE DISRESPECT to the people who PAY YOU MONEY. (And now you expect them to pay you more money.)Shows with poor quality should be discounted. How much? I don't know. 20%? 30%? 50%?Be fair to your customers. Even 10% would be shitty, but still shows you care SOMEWHAT about the people who fund your ability to film girls dancing everyday instead of working a real job, and shows you care SOMEWHAT about delivering those customers a good product, and that you are ashamed when you mess up video quality when TEST SHOOTING FOR VIDEO AND AUDIO ERRORS BEFORE SHOOTING THE ACTUAL SCENE could fix this issue entirely. You wouldn't work at McDonald's and say to all your customers "Sorry, we're out of fries and soda. Enjoy just a burger. Pay me for the fries and drink anyway."You wouldn't sell a chair with 2 legs and say "Sorry, pay me full price for the other 2 legs anyway."

You analogy isn't accurate. You do not have a subscription to totem. You make a choice whether to buy a card or not and even the premium is with explicit knowledge that you may not want all of the cards in the month, although totem is nice enough to tell you what is coming for the next 40 days. If you were running a company and there were slight to moderate variations in quality you would have to make a choice...give a discount and acknowledge that the hard work of your studio is subpar and create a culture in the office and above that honest mistakes cost the company money. Or you tell the customers that the cards are not to normal quality due to an honest mistake and they can make a choice or not to buy at full price. Choice 1 costs the studio money guarenteed. Choice 2 give the customer a choice to skip the card or pay full price as many customers may not care about slight variations in quality.

What can I say... as I just wrote about twenty days ago:"after almost four years of "activity" (during which I put together more than 4500 cards, more than half of which were "unwanted") I decided to wait to buy the next two Belka cards, spend the last remaining credits and withdraw from the game (I already have two entries ready to activate in my firewall, so as not to be "disturbed" by unwanted ads).I'm sorry, but not being the least bit interested in NFT & DOLZ, gambling & SEC and having also noticed a progressive deterioration in the quality of the shows (without necessarily talking only about blur ...) I feel I have no other choice.I then activated my "countdown"...."I bought the two Belka cards and now I know for sure when my countdown will end....P.S. One could argue about the "exceptional quality" of some of the latest shows....

Do you have constructive criticism? All I see is somebody needing to whine and "take their ball home" because they are upset about something they won't clearly define. This is petulant ***** behavior. The camera/sound mistakes have happened occasionally over the last 10 years and are nothing new. Ill make some criticism of the past so you can understand constructive criticism?

    1. Most old shows have very small clips, 50-100 seconds and only 3-4 full nudity.
    2. Cards were 1080, 720, some were even lower quality
    3. Very few girls had any dance skills whatsoever in the past or even strip-tease skills such as flashing breasts or pulling panties to the side, or twerking.
    4. No xxx in regular cards and then all xxx in deskbabe cards. Boring lesbian cards meant many girls didn't do any dancing cards.
    5. Outfits were either very cheap or ugly, nearly all girls wore heels, no different kinds of outfits or role play or acting. Go back through your collection and find a girl with Tennis shoes or cute boots in the past, almost impossible.
    6. Swing clips were a waste of time and ssd space.
    7. Very few exclusive girls, nearly all girls were from czech republic or hungary and were pornstars. Now we get girls like Tatiana Coco who has only performed for istripper, or more recently Carla Vyxx who hasn't produced anything else professionally.
    8. More diversity now. Many more girls from South America, Asia and it seems as dolz revs up they are now going to Paris and Germany, or more expensive places.

I wouldn't be such a simp for totem but the list above shows that they constantly innnovate and attempt to make the product better so maybe give some constructive criticism and maybe your advice will taken. ***** unspecific criticisms to merely show displeasure does no good. And no they aren't going to remove money making projects that have no impact on the product because YOU don't feel like playing.

I don't agree that SECs should be included to have a full collection and be a "MASTER" member.

Given the change in the nature of obtaining SECs since the beginning, almost just through games now, this is yet another way of ***** people to gamble, which I refuse to do, even if I have all the regular cards and VR shows.

I don't think this is rewarding people who have complete collections, who buy all the regular cards every day, and who support the product. And above all, who have invested a considerable amount of money to buy all these shows, and who continue to do so.

Above all, we have to take into account the exchange rate of people, depending on the country, who have a devaluation of their money against the Euro and American money. Our collection has already cost us a lot more because of this.

And once again, no consideration is given to allowing people with all the regular cards to obtain SECs other than by playing. What's it worth to Totem for someone with over 5,000 cards to have invested $7817.19 Canadian in their product?

To ask the question is to answer it.

All the same I thought it was curious that iStripper would run like this in Linux Mint (20.3).
iStripper runs in Linux like this, well almost like this, please have a look at this.
    https://www.istripper.com/de/forum/thread/36697/1?post=689828

And here is the new Link to the Video, the other one let's say got lost while i was rearranging some stuff
    on my Google Drive share.

    https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=1hz8auriBhfEclcBsIDjRhld7ZD9kFpru

And here is some more "Link spamming" incoming.

I'm running iStripper on Linux Ubuntu with the help of PlayOnLinux which is just a "more user friendly"
    frontend for Wine.

Without having any further information about your own personal Linux History,
but you might know about it, that every Linux Distribution is not the same, even if most people on the Net,
say it would be all the same. For further information follow this Link,

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Linux_distributions

    and this Infographic.

    https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/1b/Linux_Distribution_Timeline.svg

I will not go to deep into all that historical stuff, but you can roughly say that Debian is the Mother of all
the Linux Distributions, more or less and roughly said.

But they have all one thing in common, they are using a centralized Package/Software repository
located on a centralized Server, running and maintained from the Distributor of your Linux Distribution.

The one for Ubuntu is Mark Shuttleworth the Founder and CEO of Canonical.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Shuttleworth

and the one for Linux Mint is Clement Lefebvre.

    https://linuxmint.com/teams.php

Mint is a Community only project while behind Ubuntu is a Company with a financial Background.

Ubuntu is using the Package repository from Debian but they are modifying most of these Packages to
achieve a more beginner friendly and best possible first use experience.

    https://packages.ubuntu.com/en/

Linux Mint is using, no i should say copy and pasting the Package repository from Ubuntu
including their own Package repository on top of that.

    http://packages.linuxmint.com/

    http://packages.linuxmint.com/list.php?release=victoria

Which means i can't tell you the difference about using PlayOnLinux on Mint, while i'm using Ubuntu
now since July 2009, and i never used a different one.

Except for a few other installations in a Virtual Machine like for example different Derivates of Ubuntu to test
another Desktop Environment as well as Debian, Arch Linux and Antergos, now known as EndeavourOS.

    https://www.fosslinux.com/14859/antergos-linux-project-has-been-discontinued.htm

    https://endeavouros.com/

Running iStripper in Linux Ubuntu worked pretty well during all these years so far, if you can live without the
Desktop mode, not being able to listen to your imported Music, and not being able to Download the Bonus
    Videos in the highest Resolution.

But for all that i always had a workaround, like for example using a separate Musik Player/Software combined
with my Multimedia Keys on my Keyboard, or using the Website to Download the Bonus Videos
    in the highest Resolution.

This was all what was coming in my mind so far, if you have further questions let me know,
and i'm trying to Answer them after my best knowledge and believe.
