Maybe give it some time. Apple is already allowing age restricted apps now that iPhone OS is capable of parental locks. Currently, the rating goes to 17+ with nudity as an available content descriptor for the US, but, so far, only apps going as far as bikini and lingerie models are being approved. I have seen an app out that has Jenni Gregg, Lillianne Tiger, Monika Sweet, Lucky and Jana Cova in it.
Their policy actually is actually against pornographic content, but you can have nudity without it being porn. I guess it's just up to their interpretation.
Like I said, give it time. Maybe they just need to figure out where to draw the line.

pfff... Apple!!! They did try to use a lot of space from my hdd by promisse me to download daily a song for free at her windows-music-player!
What did happens is: No songs for free, a non-functional musicbox and 2 á 3 times a week an up-date from Apple!
I have it all shutdown from my pc ~ bad reputation for a luxus-brand like Apple want to be :-D

@alerte I don't know about a windows emulator, but if you're networking savvy, the are VNC clients for iPhone. You just need to set up a VNC server on your computer, and configure the port fowarding in your router. It may be a lag a bit, but you can pull up your desktop on your iPhone screen.

@LuckRene
AT&T makes all smart phone(iPhone, blackberry, etc) users subscribe to a unlimited data plan that costs $40/month USD along with our phone rate plan.
@alerte
yes, the pc must stay on. I do not have the new 3GS, but I imagine that one would give better performance over the 3G. Even so, performance is acceptable with a strong 3G connection and better over wifi.

Well, over here is i-net on the mobile phone aviable for some 5 years now.
I did check once the i-net with my phone and had to quit after 15 minutes because i have pré-paid and 40 euro value was gone for that.
On the other hand; because i-pod is a 'normal' wannahave the price for sending sms is only 7cent actuelly with my provider's sim :)

Edit } for *****-phone the price for sending sms is only 4cent but those people pay a big Tax on their Bill ~ that's the reason why i'm using pré-paid ;)

Wow didn't realize rates were so expensive for data there. We get charged by the kilobyte of data transferred for mobile Internet access instead of by minute if we are not on an unlimited plan, and, like I said before, smart phone owners are required to subscribe to unlimited access.
SMS rates are about the same here.
T-mobile is also a carrier here(though not for iPhone), but the prepaid plans here don't include Internet.

Yeah, it's not cheap over here to use i-net on the mobile phone.
Also i did read that T-mobile allow their members in the US to call each other for free by using the G.S.M. like a Walky-Talky and it make no difference from and to what State of the Union.
Well, give a call from my home to France per exemple cost a little fortune in EU.
Think if AT&T would get to EU that also would change soon :)

So it would appear that using vnc as a solution would only be cost effective over wifi for some countries.

iPhone friendly web content would be the only way to get around app store restrictions, but I could forsee heavy server loads related to that.
