I was wondering if anyone knows if transparency can be added to all of the bitmap files used for skins.

I know the color to make the background transparent is ff00ff (or R:255, G:0, B:255), but I want to make the tabs and menu pages transparent without trying to line up pictures to match the background image.

I am using a screenshot of Alerte's Ting skin as an example of having to line up the pictures to give a transparent effect. This requires lining up the background image of the backsettings_us.bmp file with the image of the background.bmp file. If you look along the left edge, you notice that it is difficult to line up the images perfectly (the background.bmp image is slightly higher).

Is it possible to use a color for transparency on the tabbed menus?

You can try using a Alpha Channel, I am not sure if the software will support it.

This was my try to create a german translation. By now i found out that this colour makes the software to show the background. And if you use it there you see 'through' the software
