Do you have any evidence that there has been any significant change in the number of long time customers that are leaving. It seems to me that there have been a few who have said that they might be leaving but over the years I have seen many of those actually remain.This effect will can not be seen immediately as the price increase is also not in effect yet. You need a specific period of time after the increase in order to make a reasonable statistic.However, what already is known is, that once people start leaving and go to alternatives, the chances of them comming back are very smal.

You must know that the CEOs of totem are known to use detailed analytics to make decisions. They know what is going on with the customer base and have no problem adapting to the customer base. Just a thought...In America, the peak of the baby boom generation was born in 1956, that puts the peak baby boomer at the age of 67...which happens to be retirement for the entire cohort. I believe this phenomena is happening all over where totem sells the best. This entire mass of relatively healthy people have huge amounts of disposable income and 10-15 years to spend it. I think this group will be totems main income for the next decade. There are also a ton of tech savvy boomers who facilitated the technological revolution and the software, including NFTs are very attractive to this group. Totem can't survive pandering to ***** rearing parents, college kids, and single men just starting careers...of course some customers fall into these categories but there are too many economic pressures. Also, the young generation has grown up with free porn, pirated porn and likely will ***** injustice if they have to pay fair price for erotica.

Which is pretty much what I was trying to point out. Neither of us have the data on which to base our opinions - but Totem do have that data so their opinions have a much stronger basis than any of ours.

You said you are concerned about the future viability of the product and gave some reasons for that concern so presumably you had some reason to think that at least one of them had a significant probability of being true (not neccessarily a high probabilty, but not negliable either). My replies highlighted that you had no data on which to base this judgement.

While Totem's are based on their perspective, much more relevant experience, and access to highly relevant data.

For example, if Totem had jumped from having no games at all to their current level then I would be concerned, But that is not what happened, the games and the SECs were introduced gradually, growing as experience with them was gained along with data on how well they were performing. This should vastly decrease any concerns you may have about their viability as a business strategy.

Even without the nostagia factor (I wasn't around for the prior product) I found these cards well worth buying. For the most part the performances and costumes are what I was looking for and which I am now find is largely missing in the more recent cards.

I have a fair number of shows so obviously I like the product.

Although I am not the center of the universe, I base my decisions on myself and many others do the same for themselves. For me, the net result is a higher price for shows in the future and I am understandably disappointed. The increase is not unexpected and a business is here to make a profit. Someone argued that totem's costs have not increased. Even if their main operating costs remained the same (doubtful), the day to day operating costs will be affected by inflation. (Office supplies, utilities, new hire salaries etc.)

Someone implied there is a logic to the value of buying shows. I agree but only to the point that the logic is for the individual and no one else. We all have commonalities and some values/preferences may be more widely held than others. Some people buy death metal music and some buy classical and a few buy both. A great number of people enjoy steak but not everyone cooks it the same or pays the same price for their food. Ultimately if the cost exceeds YOUR value of the product, you will not buy it.
Buying shows is not a need (water, air etc.) so a great deal of "logic" is not applicable. As far as value is concerned, it is determined by how much you can sell something for. In the end, this will be decided by both parties. If you overprice something (especially if it is not a need), you will have fewer to no sales. Sell your empty water bottle for $10? Maybe someone will take pity and buy it but price it at $1 million and your chances of selling it drop significantly.

For totem, they are (or damn well should be) trying to maximize their income by balancing the number of sales vs the price. If you price your water bottle at $1, you will definitely sell more than if it were $1000. However, you need far fewer sales for the higher price. Find the right price, maximize income! The business model for totem is vastly different than my water bottle example (goods vs services). Once they pass a certain number of sales, the remaining sales are almost entirely profit (for that unit if they have factored in a quantized value of the ongoing costs). So I know they are not arbitrarily increasing prices. I understand this but I am still disappointed at having to pay more.



Based on the reviews of the shows I know people buy them for MANY different reasons. Feet, heels, blonde, red head, skinny, curvy, natural boobs, great dancer, etc. There are a few shows/models that I really enjoy. To me, they are more valuable and I would be willing to pay more for them. There are also a number of shows that, to me, are not worth their current price. Some I might buy at a discount and there are some that I would refuse even if free.

So for me, I will never get Elite status. I will lose out on free mobile shows. Even this carrot is not enough for me to buy cards that I don't enjoy. I know I am not alone in this but I also know there are many who will want to complete their collection. Completion has value to those individuals.

As someone who has given (paid in exchange for services) totem several thousands of dollars, I hope they value my opinion. Based on the discounts for purchased cards I would argue that they do value me or at least my purchasing power. So here is my opinion - Always be transparent, admit mistakes, work to eliminate software/code incidents, continue to produce beautiful shows. These elements are essential to success.

Will I stop buying cards? Doubtful. Will I buy as many cards in the future? Probably not but if the model/show appeals to me, I will buy it. However, If issues continue to arise (missing library because of a promotion, production issues, poorly tested software elements), it will impact my desire to spend beyond anything offered.

As most here of course I’m not really happy about the price increase, but on the other hand I completely understand that new shows are getting more expensive due to higher costs and the inflation. But I’d appreciate if the old shows would at least stay at their old prices (after all they are already done production-wise and often have lower quality, and this weighs heavier than increased server/energy costs etc.). I think major sources of the increased costs to Totem are such "*****" things as office rental, wages, heating, electricity - all of which affect the older cards as much as they do the new.

The later you make the threshold the the larger you would need to make the price increase for the small set of all the cards it is applied to in order to have the same overall effect as applying a much smaller increase applied to all the cards. If you wanted to have that same overall effect but nly applied the price increase to new cards then even if "new" meant cards up to a year old the price increase would need to be huge. What you say would only be true if the only cards that sold well were those released very recently and the contribution to Totem's income from the thousands of other cards was negliigable.

Also, remember that for a new member all the cards are new - how on earth would you justify to them that a card published on the 1st of September was much more expensive than those published the week before? That explanation would be hard enough in September let alone a year or two year from now.

Well i have been a long time supporter and i would say that i think the price increase is fair considering the massive inflation we had in these past months due to the war in the Ukraine.
I will not support NFTs as i find the whole concept of them weird though i must say at least you get something you can watch here not just the right for some digitial image which doesn't even contain a copyright and if you use the image on a website anyone can easily copy it from there. To try to make something that is digital unique without just keeping it on your personal HD is doomed to fail IMO. You can't create a perfect copy of the Mona Lisa but you can create one of any digital file. Just copy the zeros and ones exactly and you got such a copy.

But other than that i am happy with the recent shows. One thing that Totem should work on is sound quality. I just can't get why this seems to be an unsolvable problem with all the options that are available. Also stuff like the out of focus shows that were released this year that must have been recorded over weeks without anyone noticing the problem just must not happen. If it would happen for one day sure but for weeks with no one noticing it does seem unprofessional.
So yeah i will continue to be a customer I appreciate the constant flow of beautiful women that Totem finds for us.

So I have a question about the VIP status and Jokers. Would it be possible to program the Joker-card different for Elite members?

Because if you only can buy a SEC with Joker-card after the Special Event, I don`t see the point for Joker-cards. I would only paticipate in the Special Event and the Jokers would stack up.

If the Special Event was The Wheel of Bargain or Free Packs it would effectivly barr the Elite-members from participating(I guess that would be easly fixed with always making sure of a another game togheter with the ones mentioned)

I`m pragmatic, so the Special Event doesn`t feel like winning to me. It`s just a long clicking-hour to get the SEC. I don`t mind the prize. Sometimes I just feel like pushing a button and pay 600 credits. The joker-card allows me to do that.

Maybe there are other solutions? I like how we now can use the Gift-cards on VR-shows, that makes the Gift-card valuable again. Perhaps in the future you can buy some special ASMR-videos/shows with Joker-cards😄
