Celine
If you are saying that you will only be checking the accounts of members who have posted here, it seems I should post here!
Because of the ***** over PST, CET, GMT etc. I'm not absolutely sure but believe I may have been entitled to a badge after more than one attempt at securing it. Perhaps you would include my account in your check.
Many thanks.

@celineJust out of curiosity: How does the "First to buy a card" -achievement work with the "Auto-add"-function? For users who have this option on, are the cards automatically "bought" by them at the same second as the card is released? And if so, is the first person to "buy" a card always the one of those Auto-add users who happen to have lowest user ID ?If this is the case, this will be another case of "ain't gunna happen" :)

The AUTO-ADD & PREORDER are excluded from the conditions to obtain the "First to buy" achievement. Only the manual purchases are taken into account :)

Re: "First to buy" -achievement

Just for fun, I started synchronising every 10 seconds at 9:55 Paris Time today, and bought new card immediately (One-click-purchase) after the card appeared and somebody beat me to it 😀

(Click "Synchronize with servers" --> notice new red/white "1" appearing next to "Featured" --> Click on store and purchase within couple of seconds)

No, this is REALLY not important, but decided to give this one go for the heck of it :)

ERRATUM :

the 420 achievement is set to be won between 4:20:00 and 4:20:59 pm PDT *time
By PDT I mean "Pacific Daylight Time"
Thank you
@Celine
Thanks for being clear about what is required, should be no room for debate from here. I think I purchased one at 4:20 PDT but I have kept a couple of cards in reserve to buy awaiting this clarification. So hopefully I'll get it awarded in retrospect but just to be on the safe side I'll try a purchase later.

For the more visual amongst us, it only does 15 minute intervals but you get the idea.
If anyone wants me to add a timezone I still have the webpage open and can add at the bottom.

So now iStripper needs a little clock at the top and a refresh on it's box every 60 seconds so there can be no error of purchase for those that... need to own everything. ;)

Yes @shodan084 - but it would probably have to be one clock for every time zone so that there's absolutely no *****!

@shodan084

No need for anything added to the app, just use this link in a window alongside iStripper

https://time.is/PDT

or use your taskbar clock (whch you could optionally temporarily set it to PDT)

How about Totem simply creating 1440 new achievement badges for every single minute in a day, and we can forget this nonsense...

You buy one card, get the achievement badge for that particular minute, and after checking what you won, you'll know what to do with with your next 1439 purchases :)

Has it come to this? Seriously? A support ticket to rectify an "accomplishment"?

I think the accomplishments are fun, but........

@Celine - That's amazing. For several days now I have been pointing out, proving and proving this very fact, and it cannot be ignored. And still I have not yet received the badge.

But it's not a big deal, I've already got a lot of nonsense, I'm surely not running after this thing anymore, although I bought a card at 4:20 pm PDT. Can I make donations?

I agree with @TallandSlimMan ; on Istripper there still are so many issues (e.g. search function on forum, or defective cards) which - according to my opinion - we should all strongly rather ask to get fixed; such features are at the end much more important for all of us rather than a couple of - even if nice - achievement badges, which have no real function nor utility...

Agree with all the recent comments - for something that should just be a bit of fun it has generated a lot of traffic, late hours and lost sleep.

And still we await news that the bug has been fixed and the badge awarded to those to have met the qualification.

A few minutes ago it was 4:20pm PDT. I bought a card which is time stamped in my account history at 01:20:09. I did not received the the 04:20 award. I have since resynced with the servers have quit and restarted iStripper but that made no difference.

Achievements: It ain't gunna happen.

    • Nice Shot 500 (And no quantity discount? Never!)
    • Cosplay (How many stamps I would get for it)
    • First One (It's not that important to me after all)
    • 4:20 (Obviously not possible)

I tried yet again since the achievement badge was updated! Yesterday I bought a card at 16:20:04 PST! Today I bought a card at 16:20:10 PDT! And last week I bought a card at 16:20:05 GMT/UTC! Evidently, the achievement is broke! And I soon will be if I keep trying this *****!😈 At least I got the May 4th achievement! Happy Star Wars day everybody!😊

I already keep a clock on my desktop set to Pacific Time, used for game updates... as that seems to be where they all operate from. Can my desktop look any more like an airport check in?

I'm going to use this as my homepage...

In German Time you should try it at 13.20 Uhr, not at 1.20 Uhr. You will get the Badge if you buy a card between 13.20.00 and 13.20.59 German Time.

@JuppKowalski

The text on the achievements page says 4:20 PM PDT, not 4:20 AM. This is also what @Celine said (after correcting it from 4:20 pm PST). She has also previously said that it corresponded to 01:20 CEST and to 23:20 UTC/GMT

Of course the description on the achievements page may still be wrong - it has been "corrected" twice already so we may well be in for a third correction, i.e. a fourth version of the target time. No matter what, it is getting to be beyond a joke.

@JuppKowalski - I understood you the first time - but as has been mentioned several times in this thread by myself and others 13.20 CEST does not correspond to the time that Totem give as the target time for this badge. The time currently given on the achievements page before you win the badge is 4:20 PM PDT, as is the time appearing on the badge itself and in the most recent Erratum message from @Celine.

I can well believe that 4:20 am PDT was intended or that 4:20 am was programmed in error - but it is not what was published.

The questions that now arise are

    1) What was the intended time, 4:20 am or 4:20 pm ?
    2) If the intended time was 4:20 am will those that met the published conditions get the badge ?
    3) If the intended time was 4:20 pm but the the wrong test was implemented what will happen to those that got the badge at the "wrong" time ?

A question for later in the year is what happens when Europe and the US seperately switch back to Winter time ? Will this comedy of errors be repeated twice, once when Europe switch and also when the US switches.

A feature of two of the badges, those for the "First One to buy a card" and the "4:20" achievements, is that meeting the conditions to win them will vary depending on your geographical location. I had pre-qualified for the First One but if I had not then trying for it would involve no hardship as the daily release time is is always about 10:00 am but for others it will be much more inconvenient and require being active at 3:00 in the morning. Similarly qualifying for the 4:20 badge, no matter whether it is 4:20 am or 4:20 pm will be easier for some than for others depending on where they live - this last could be alleviated by allowing both 4:20 am and 4:20 pm as qualifying.

Isn't it the essence of earning badges?
I mean, for me badges is a way of showing that I do something special.
If everybody can have it in two clicks, where is the fun? :p
I'm from Belgium and it'll be fun to try time to time to get ready at 3 in the morning to get it.

Have fun ...and Belgium beer of course :p
