@e79nightwolf

Assuming that you are responding to the "six shows per week" - that is 6 shows released per week, not 6 shows shot per week. According to earlier posts in this thread Totem have about 90 shows already shot and will be releasing these over the next few months. They will not be shooting any new shows until the situation is more normal.

I am ok with 5 updates a week. It is really up to the girls and the crew on what they feel safe doing.

From what I have read about the lockdown in France they would not be allowed to shoot new cards even they wanted to.

Firstly, I agree that slightly reducing the release of new shows already in the can to spread them out a bit is a sensible solution.

Secondly, there are some really good ideas here about remastering older shows to 'plug the gap'. I have a lot of older shows that I love, but the quality leaves a bit to be desired. I'd pay a couple of credits to upgrade. Also, for some favourite 'veteran' models, there are shows I have not bought because of this, and I'd jump at the chance to get them if improved.

Finally, stay safe all. Remember - "This too shall pass".

Indeed, Totem is not an essential business.

The company, during lockdown, could also publish some of the previously unreleased cards (for example, we still miss two ones out of Celeste's shooting of 2017). If some of such old unpublished cards have unfixable technical issues, a price reduction would be sufficient to make me forget about them...

If you choose to remaster, I suggested earlier a vote, 10 cards, the winner gets remastered the next week. The 2nd and 3rd plays next week too.

Comme nous devons faire face à une situation mondiale very special.

Ca pourrait être sympa si Istripper proposait à la vente une des cartes
"special event" chaque semaine de crise...

Responsible business. That’s good.

Still think there’s a need to think about the impact of this on Premium customers.

Perhaps an additional discount of 5% (bringing it to 25%) while this is in effect to make up for the loss of quantity (which does affect the economics of the membership benefits).

It would be a simple change and would recognise the members who have invested.

Alternatively, how about a COVID-19 credit bonus for everyone now staying home? Run a bonus on credit purchases like the Feb 29 one (29% bonus credits). Perhaps a 19% bonus for COVID-19?

Another option would be to simply extend the end date of the Premium membership every month this is in effect.

There are options to look after loyal customers. And these will help Totem make up for the lost revenue resulting from releasing less cards.

@wtprivate - Are you never ruddy well satisfied? Your Premium membership already gives you a significant discount that more than pays for itself, even at a lower release rate - and that is ignoring the fact you get the better quality 4k shows.

And as for a 19% discount for covid-19? The 29% discount for the 29th February was a celebration. What the hell is there to celebrate about covid-19.

I fail totally to see how any of your suggestions will provide Totem with more revenue.

@wtprivate how about a april 1st reload, when you pay for the reload on April 1st the creditor take your money & No credits, Totem on the other hand tales all your credits away down ta 0000.00 & says the jokes on you have a good day..... hehehehehe😖

I like this plan on one condition:

The purchase occurs after Totem takes over the users camera... Totem then posts the videos of everyone as the credits drop to zero!!!!

Like it or not, Totem gets paid when we BUY credits, not when we spend them. Any marketer knows that promotions drive sales. Do the math.

The best thing Totem can do to weather the storm is to encourage people to BUY credits.

I stand by my suggestions.

@pickle1: You are far too negative. I’m not suggesting a celebration. I never used that word.

What I’m suggesting is that:
  • Totem recognises that they have effectively diluted the benefit of Premium membership
  • Totem might want to sell a few credits in the current environment, and heck - we might even want to buy some
  • Any credits we buy will continue to support Totem through this difficult time

Your failure to see how this adds up is not my problem.

But you associate with 19.
And yes, I also find this kind of discussion about riding for its premium status and not waiting to see what will be decided sooner or later, given the circumstances that affect everyone and are currently highly topical, simply unbearable.
My opinion, nobody needs that.

Maybe it's a good time to refresh older cards to the new 3k quality, there are a lot of good models cards but in old quality 720p and 1080p (tracy lindsay, tess my love, but better quality could be used. It could be done so that we they were satisfied and you made money in this difficult period.E.g. the card was purchased in 720p quality (8.80cr) to download 3k quality, I have to pay 4.96 cr, which is the total price of 13.75cr of new outgoing cards (example for triple diamond account Totem, please use this time. Users who like the idea, let them speak on this topic or copy this post, let the totem see this post. Regards

That's cool. I even sent a message for support with an idea. We'll see what comes out of it, money is for them, just a little work with refreshing the cards. Regards

Yes of course, and i am seeing no problem there.
not when we spend them.
That's also correct. You give your Money to Totem, you get Virtual Credits and can Buy Shows.
That is this strange thing of given and taken. Just in case you didn't Notice.
Any marketer knows that promotions drive sales.
Wow really, i never thogth that before. That sounds you have a Tree in your Garden that can grow
infinite Money. So then, why you take your Money and do something Good for your fellow men.

The best thing Totem can do to weather the storm is to encourage people to BUY credits.
Of course they will do that, because Totem need also things to pay.
The Models, The Flights, Rent, Power and Water for the Studio ans so on and so on ....

And Yes they have to be profitable, every Company has to be profitable 😉

Oh and almost forgot "this Storm" called Covid 19 could possibly erase allmost
the whole Humanity, just in case you didn't Notice. But @wtprivate isn't still Satisfied.

Oh man .... where is all the Emphatie gone on some people.
Truely, the Team should close this Thread, this becomes all really strange.

@Stanston: You are missing my point entirely.

I'm saying that we should HELP Totem in these times. Buying credits would be a way to show our support. And Totem should also be interested in encouraging this. So, a promotion would be a good business move. You clearly have no idea about commercial reality.

It's 100% not about my satisfaction. It's about what we all can do to help each other in this terrible situation. If we help Totem with our purchase, we are being kind. And so, Totem can also encourage us to purchase.

If you can't understand my emapthy, that's not my problem.

I agree wholeheartedly. A promotion for credits purchase would benefit everyone, imo.

Other businesses are already doing the same thing, offering vouchers and coupons with indefinite duration (my FLGS where I buy board games, for example). It's the same thing in this case. Or it could be, rather.

I am very grateful that Totem are keeping going at all and also that they have an extensive back-catalogue of items to collect.

I am a collector and I have a large collection of real-world items that have been bought from all over the world often via eBay (including of course Eva Elfie's Nier Dildomata outfit). In light of the pandemic my purchasing has shrunk away to virtually nil - because I do not want items from Europe etc coming into my house (I have underlying health conditions so I am very wary) and potentially carrying virus in with them.

Instead my purchasing has shifted to iStripper and I have had to renew my credits many times as I have been buying many, many shows. The girls do not need to be wiped down with anti-bacterial spray when they arrive on my computer (that's a perversion I don't have!). So I hope that extra spend of mine is helping keep this great company afloat.

God bless.

As a fellow collector myself (console and games mostly) I can tell you not to worry about the virus coming into your house like that.

1 - It doesn't last more than 3 days on plastic surfaces
2- You can open the shipping boxes with gloves and store the merchandise safely where it can rest for 3 days so the virus will die down

I m telling you this since I've been buying more things since prices are going down (less people willing to buy)...so there are a lot of nice bargains to be made right now:)

Hmmm

Martina Smerelda's first card is called "Younger Than Springtime" and is due out on Good Friday....

Any bets that she becomes the winning card in a game of snakes and ladders as was the first card of Tanya Bahtina "Cupids Treasure"? So it wouldn't be an SEC but it would be free when you completed the game. That would be a bit of fun provided the price to play was kept low and would be fair if, like Tanya's card, it was available to be bought at normal price when the game finished.

hmmm, perhaps it may be a good time to relaease some of the SECs to help offset? Either way reducing the number is a great idea and no doubt there will be great cards to come.

I wonder if there has been a look for any local talent in Paris?

Stay safe my freinds..

That is a great idea. Definitely about time!
