In the newest announcement there is writtren:
"You can open as many mystery envelopes as you want!"

That is not true; "unfortunately" I cannot open any envelope, except once.

Is there a Special event card attached to this and if so if you have a complete collection is it possible to get?

Also can we do the month purchase again soon? It is so nice to just not have to click buy now...

@Styss Hi, sorry, we should have said " except for the Triple Diamond members who have almost all the shows"

Thank you. This saves me the trouble of trying. Indeed it is unfortunate that iStripper would penalize without warning its customers who have liked its product so much that they have purchased almost all the shows.

Indeed it is unfortunate that iStripper would penalize without warning its customers...

LOL... dramatic much? How on earth is iStripper giving you penalties with this weekend's promo? Or, what kind of warning would you have preferred to have received yesterday? ("WARNING DANIEL: there will be a promo you won't be able to take part in. WARNING!!" or something different?)

Sorry, but even if you have all the releases (as I do), how on earth can you take offence on this promo? Maybe you should blame yourself for having bought too much cards in the past so that you have nothing left to buy this weekend?? Why didn't you think in advance? 😒😀😒😀

Last weekend they had the cashback promo so that if you bought 500 credits you'd get 100 credits for free. Either you missed that or you forgot how even us full collectioners are being taken care of.

Totem is a Business Yes?
If you have Valued customers that Every Day, buy everything at a 45% discount, and you as the Business only make $0.05
on each one...

But for New customers who Pay Full Price, you as the Business make $1.25 on each one...

What makes more Business sense for a Weekend Promotion..

Attract the Valued Customers so they Buy 100 items, and you make $5.00 profit..
Or Attract the New Customers so they Buy 100 items and you make $125.00 profit...

I think the weekend Promotion as a Business is Better to Attract the New customers.
You are already Taking care of your Valued Customers Every day of the Year.

Full price card cost $2.50
50% of that price goes to pay your Affiliates. so you pay out $1.25 per card..
and you Keep $1.25 profit that has to cover your Employees and Production Costs..

When you Sell a card at the 45% discount, you still need to pay your Affiliates that $1.25
So that only Leaves you $0.05 profit.

A business can only Survive if it can turn a Profit..
So many of the Weekend Promotions are targeted to Generate Profit...

Thank you to everyone who participates, and Gets a bit more of a discount, and also helps keep the Business running.
Every so often, there is a Promotion that The Full Collection Members can take advantage of..
But in between, the Promotion might not be the best Fit for the full Collection members.

Edit:
I used numbers to emphasize a point.
I don't know what the actual numbers are...
But you get the idea, I hope...

In such games I always gets the very old and low quality cards. I should learn and not participate in such mysteries.

looks like the brain storming to find somthing to show appreciation for their most loyal customers after the last scratch game desaster didn't bring up any results.. really a pity.
At least they didn't release a new special event card this time.

Edit: i tried this one time. Happy to say that no VG Classics were included in the 5 cards. And the scratch game got me 50 credits so i paid 1.05 credits for these 5 cards...

yes for new customers this is an interesting offer probably.

Edit2: The prize of the envelope changes btw. I guess its already clear for the system which cards it contains.

If it is a Slot Machine or those Mystery Envelopes, I don't like these games and these chances to get cards of models that I don't want to buy or get. I can only say: Stop those games and packages with the cat in a sack! And stop those event cards that you cannot buy in the usual way. I am really upset about this practice. Demos are enough! I want a free choice and no threats!👎😠😀

Out of the five different win possibilities of the scratch card has anyone won a special event card?

I wouldn't mind knowing the odds on that, all i want is the Ginebra card

A roundabout answer. That... does not make a whole lot of sense! X)

Being able to see the odds is important. A 20 to 1 odds would be picking the number 6 far more often than a 15000 to 1. This applies to the fansign too. It's only fair to let people know they have no chance... ;)

The 'random seed number' on the fansign is almost useless. Type that phrase into google and find out how many 'medicinal' herbs the web tries to sell you. To calculate your chances it's merely p/(1-p). I'm sure you could add that quite easily into the web page... a nice changing variable at the top of the page! Since the odds on the scratch cards are static...

@Wyldanimal
I would agree with you if the business model Totem is using was the same you described, where
Money = Credits. Except that this is not true. Allow me to explain...

Totem is a Business Yes?
Yes, it is a business. I agree

If you have Valued customers that Every Day, buy everything at a 45% discount, and you as the Business only make $0.05
on each one...

But for New customers who Pay Full Price, you as the Business make $1.25 on each one...
I disagree. You are comparing oranges with apples. You are not spending real money in a card. You are spending credits. Whether a card is full price 25 credits or 13.75 credits (45% discount) is irrelevant. Totem is not making a profit by selling a card. Totem is making a profit by the real money ($) you spend to reload credits.
You are implying that the highest percentage of the profit comes from New Customers. This is not true. Actually, Totem gets most of its profit from the Valued Customers, they are buying every single card that comes out. The real math is that they are spending 13.75 credits X 30 = 412.5 credits per month, which mean they put in $50 every 5 weeks. New Customers will be more selective with their card purchases and will try to keep their credits as long as possible, ergo, they not be spending in a monthly basis.

What makes more Business sense for a Weekend Promotion..

Attract the Valued Customers so they Buy 100 items, and you make $5.00 profit..
Or Attract the New Customers so they Buy 100 items and you make $125.00 profit...
Not true. If a spend $100 to buy credits, whether I can buy 100 things or 40, or decide not to buy anything at all, the profit is still $100. It doesn’t matter how you spend the credits, or you can either spend it in the slot machine, win 2000 credits, but the profit still the same $100.
It becomes a profit at reload time, not when you buy a card

I think the weekend Promotion as a Business is Better to Attract the New customers.
You are already Taking care of your Valued Customers Every day of the Year.
The weekend promotion is to achieve 2 things
1. If you have the credits, a promotion is an incentive to spend them, and to spend them as quick as possible. The faster you spend your credits the sooner is the likelihood to buy more credits for real money ($).
2. If you don’t have the credits and the promotion is very appealing, then you will spend $ to buy credits, so you can enjoy the promotion.
Totem as a business needs to appeal equally to both Valued and New Customers.

Full price is 25 credits, not $2.50. So if I spend $50, then $25 is for affiliates and $25 that cover salaries and expenses.

A business can only Survive if it can turn a Profit..
So many of the Weekend Promotions are targeted to Generate Profit...
A business survives only if customers spend money, and if they can do it in a regular basis, then is all good news. If a promotion is bad, they won’t spend their credits. A bunch of credits stacked in a customer’s account is bad news for Totem, because that means the customer won’t be reloading credits anytime soon.

@hblanco88

i agree with you on only 1 point...
Totem makes it's money Selling the Credits used to purchase the cards..

If A Valued Customer start with 0 credits
and a new Customer starts with 0 credits

Who will Spend the Most to buy enough credits to buy 30 cards?

The Valued Customer already knows the best value is the 500 credits for $49.99

But the new user might look at it..
This Promo of 5 cards will cost 94 credits, I'll buy 100 credits at $14.99

And they will do this 6 times to get their 30 cards..
$14.99 x 6 = $89.94

The Valued Customer will Buy the 500 credits 1 time for $49.99 to get the same 30 cards.

I did okay on the envelope. Paid 57.6 credits and got 5 cards, of which there is 1 that I might download. The other 4 will remain permanently grey.

I also got 100 credits from the scratch card, so in the end I am now 5 (basically free) cards closer to triple diamond status and have 42 more credits than I started with.

Once yo do the math you have lost a lot of money in this place.

It might be better to not go there. Wouldn't want to scare the newbies away by letting them know how much it really costs.
