I know I can start the app minimized to the sys tray, but what if I don't want it to launch with windows?

If I launch the app manually, even using the shortcut (start minimized) trick, it opens the full window. I don't need the full window to open though.

So is there a way to manually launch the app and have it minimized to the sys tray?

Those are both in the settings menu. They are two seperate settings - Start on system startup and start disabled

I think that having it set to start with windows and have start disabled checked will have the program start minmized.
Going farther down the settings page to the 'controls' section, where it shows what left click on the systray icon does select toggle iStrippee from the drop down menu. I think that will make the model appear on screen when left clicking on the icon. Right click will open a menu to launch iStripper, launch fullscreeen and quit

Create a shortcut to the main bin vghd.exe
edit the shortcut to include the -fromStartup on the end.

C:\users\MyNAME\AppData\Local\vghd\bin\vghd.exe -fromStartup

must be lower case f and uppercase S

Note: you must have the advance setting
Run iStripper at Startup checked.
If that is not checked, then iStripper will quit because of the -fromStartup
It's also a good idea to put a check in Always start disabled.
That prevent a model from starting up, in the event you quit while a model was last dancing.

To prevent it from starting with Windows
remove the shortcut that it creates from the startup folder.
This is hidden in the ProgramData folder
you will have to take control of that folder if you've never browsed it before.

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp

Now, iStripper will not start with windows, and you have a manual shortcut that opens to the systray.
Without Opening the GUI window.

At first I was thinking umm How's that going to help? Then you added to remove the startup shortcut from teh startup folder.... Then I got it.

I would have led with the startup folder info. I almost stopped reading lol. Thanks though, I will try that.

Edit: Shortcut with the -fromStartup works like a champ! I had tried all the usual -m - minimized, and every other command that I could find. Thanks again. Now lets hope removing it from the startup folder prevents it from auto running =)

Back in 1st Grade I was Taught, Always read All of the Directions First before starting step 1.
This was again reinforced in 9th grade.

A 10 page test was handed out.
Very easy questions on it...
Step one was to
Read all of the directions Carefully
Step two was to
Sign your Name and Date, and Class room, and make sure to use a #2 pencil to Mark all of your Answers..
Next
There were probably 100 questions...
All Multiple choice with a Box next to each choice to fill in.

After the very last question was an Instruction...

Do Not Mark any Answers on the Test Sheets
Do not Sign your Name on the Test Sheets
On a separate Piece of Paper
Write your Name, Date and Class
And that you Have Fully read all of the Instructions Before Beginning the test.
Put your Pencil Down, and turn in the Blank Test Sheets
and your Answer sheet.

It wasn't a 100 question test.
It was a test to see if you Read and follow the directions.

I was the only one that Passed..
Everyone else was busy marking their answers on the Test sheets.

HA !

PS,
the Remove the Shortcut from the Startup folder was deliberately put last..
If I had put it first, and you removed it.

iStripper would have put it back, when you put the Check mark in
Run iStripper at Startup

So the steps have to be more or less followed in order...

removing the Shortcut from the Startup folder is the last step.
