I have used the previews as tags for potential cards for purchase and now all the previews are *gone* due to some useless change. Yes, there is now a Wish List option that will do the same thing in the *future* but FFS... My entire existing flagging system just got nuked and I am supposed to crawl through every fucking card now to find those all? This change ranks pretty damn high on the 'most retarded changes ever' list. At least you should have converted all the downloaded Previews to items on wish list but just making them disappear? It's like your goal is to avoid sales at all costs.

And as a side note.. limiting previews on triple diamond level serves no function anyway. No point in changing it back as they no longer serve their previous function but it was truly an inherently stupid thing to do anyway. Angry as hell at the moment.

Cards in the "Preview" section are "downloaded previews".
Girls I did not buy at first glance but want to keep handy for a new look.

I would have call the section "Teasing" as this is what it was for me.
Click on the Preview and well... this time I will buy the card.

Wishlist does NOT work the same...

If I want to take a second look at a girl I have to re-extract the preview again.
And it takes a place in the "seven card limit" of the Preview section.

Sorry... I don't like this change if not to say I deeply dislike it.

Just when I thought Totem couldn't piss me off any more than they have done, they now do this :-((((((

Well it has now cost them the 20 cards I was going to purchase this weekend. I'd got them all set up as previews so I could find them easily.

Now they are gone.

Well thats tough because I am not searching through all the store to find those cards again.

As they have already wiped out thousands of demo's of my purchased cards, I have just now turned off P2P as I just don't see the point in keeping it on anymore.

After being prefectly willing to keep demo files (without accessing them in a lot of cases) for sharing purposes, Totem have decided they will just wipe everything willy nilly. What was the point of my keeping them all.

Definitely not a happy bunny.

Won't be buying any more cards until this is fixed.

Same here. I've used previews as a teasers and/or hint what to buy next. With 7 items that's hardly useful. And I guess the fact that user status is not taken into account is yet another prove that newcomers are the only focus. People who have used the software longer/bought more cards are flushed down the toilet just because some people where abusing the system. Annoying at best... :(

I'm really hoping they meant to limit this to only new members, that anybody with gold or platinum status can have all the previews they want. It better be a programming glitch and not an actual rule.

And it appears I still have around 45gb of preview files, unless I'm looking at the wrong ones, but they all have .demo as the file extension.

I believe this is outragious! Really we are all here members for long time, having purchased huge quantities of cards, why to limit the previews at all?!!! I like to watch the preview before I buy a show, very wrong decision and very bad for us, your customers!!!

the iStripper collection has what is called Transition clips. The have an _itxx code in their name.
Some are .VGHD and some are .Demo
the .Demo transition clips are the non-Nude clips
So yes, you Should still have all of these.

There are a few things that got us here. Totem decided to give us unlimited access to previews with the new client - yay! Then a lot of users, newer mostly, would just sit on a huge collection of previews without purchasing anything - not so good. They touched on this, that they would monitor the usage and respond accordingly. Users in forums ***** about auto downloading previews and previews taking up space, so now they are deleted after 7 previews, which now also serves as a preview limit.

A happy medium could be preview entitlement ranks based off your membership privileges. I know it feels like a slap, but feedback is where the healing process begins :p

This is BULLSHIT. Previews are the only reason i ever buy cards in the first place. I stuck to the old version simply cuz i liked having previews in My Collection. I just dropped another round of cash on some cards whose previews had hooked me for sometime, and i finally decided to buy them.

Until this is fixed, no more support here.

The New Wish list is to take place of keeping Many Previews..
add the cards you want to take a 2nd look at to your Wish list.
You can add back the previews when you are ready to go from wishlist to purchase.

the Wish list is NOT limited.

All members have been asking for the wishlist.
they all said, I'm using lots of previews because we don't have a wish list.

Now you have the wishlist, it's a new tool, you have to learn how best to use it.

But I will say.
It's a shame, that if you had lots of previews, That they couldn't have been 1st saved to the wishlist, then removed.

I'll have to test, but I think this is a daily limit...
so every day, you can switch out your 7 previews. ?? need to confirm this..

edit: I just tested this. It is not a Daily Limit. You have Unlimited Previews, but can only Keep 7 at a time. After reaching 7, if you add another preview, it replaces the oldest one. So It's 7 at a time, but Unlimited.
If used with the Wishlist, this works without limits to your ability to preview cards to Purchase.

So in Combination with your Wishlist and Previews, there should be no reason you can't
preview a card you want to decide to purchase or not.

but, that is How I would use it...

as always, the Team is Listening.. So if you express an Idea in a rational manner
and it's feasible for the team to do it without loosing Money.
it might be considered.

Every update brings new features and corrections...

I wanted to download todays show from Jamie Langford and when above message pops out the first thought was "Whaaaat?!"
I remember and understand why Totem decided to limit the number of previews, but why 7 and not 20 or 21, like before? Only seven? For diamond users?

Just for the sake of argument, here is how I like to use the program. I have all my cards and previews playing (nothing is in my next area). When I see a preview that I like, I buy it. Otherwise it plays and I don't. But the wishlist is a lot more work. With the 7 previews, I will need to constantly switch them out for others on my wishlist. I don't see how previews on my hard drive cost totem anything, and thats where I buy my cards from. New ones and old ones.

As I can see, all previews are wipe out from the list, but they are still on hard drive, so I don't have to redownload them again.
That means, if I will download 7 previews, reach the level of 7 and I'll decide to download another one (8th), then the 1st preview will be removed from the list (not from the hard drive). Next, if I download the removed preview again, it should be added to the list instantly (because it is still on HDD) at the expense of 2nd preview. Am I right?

EDIT:
Checked. I'm right.
Still, seven is not enough. 20 (or 21 - I don't remember) was better.

Im having difficulties to understand why everyone is so pissed of about this, i totally understand why they did this and they also explained it. I myself dont really use previews so for me i dont see the problem with having a limit to 7 at a time??

I can understand why some long time members had a large collection of previews downloaded as a kind of wishlist and now got that removed but other then that you all have me lost. Try 7 cards in a preview and then make up your mind and add the card/cards to the great new wishlist feature or not and move on.

Atleast this is how i feel about it all.

Since @Wyldanimal said that we are not limited to 7 per day but actually just 7 at max pre once. So in my opinion it would be easy to just download 7 previews and "test" those cards for either 1-3 days or even a week i don't know, then just add the cards you like to the wishlist or not as i said in my last post.

Then move on to 7 new once right? why would a limit at 20 make a difference other then just more cards to try at once really? I don't know if im stupid here and are missing something huge but to me this is kinda ridiculous.

@Rex,

This discussion is a good reason why you should notify the user community in advance of these kinds of changes and see if there will be a problem. It's easy to say let's do "X" to fix the problem and overlook some important side effect. The user community here might help you avoid such problems if you gave them advanced notice before you released a new change.

Im having difficulties to understand why everyone is so pissed of about this (...)

In my case: I'm not a collector. I like some girls more and some less, but even if I like some girl more I'm not going to buy all of her shows. Why? There are two main reasons; 1st: because some girls looks very similiar in every single show - then one show is enough for me. 2nd: because the outfit does not turn me on. I could add the 3rd reason: because I have other good reasons to spend my money for.

Because I'm not going to buy every single show of specific girl, I would like to compare few previews of this specific model before I'll buy one. If some specific model have less than 7 shows, it's no problem. The problem is with models like Nekane, Red Fox, Tania R, Viola and similiar. They have more than 7 cards (Viola have something about 32 cards). Then it is hard to move between all those previews. I can watch 1st preview, 2nd, 3rd, 10th and 12th and then I don't remember what was in the 1st one :)

Would've been nice to have a warning pop up when opening iStripper or waited for the next update.

I don't even know how to find the previews still on my hd and what file they're in, for manual deleting. Or how to tell them apart from other files.

I don't claim to understand this, but it seems counterintuitive. It seems to me that limiting the previews like this goes against Totem's interest, i.e., while a preview might not get your attention the first time or two, it may start to intrigue you after having seen it a few times, i.e., with fewer previews, there are going to be that many fewer "temptations" to buy the full shows. No? Well, that's how it's been for me. Without any intention of doing so, I suspect I will be buying less now because of this change.

Hello Guys

Sorry about this. The issue is fixed and free previews are no longer limited to 7. It was absolutely not intentional.

About the new wishlists, we think this feature is much more powerful and easy to use than the old preview filter and that's why we did not think it would cause so many problems. Once again, sorry about that.
I hope you will enjoy browsing our models again to find out which one you could add to your wishlist and who knows... you might find new ones to yout taste ❤️

Not sure what the fix is, but doesn't seem to work for me - I've added few previews and the new one is gone.

Files are there, yes, but that makes it even more annoying - your software is wasting my disk space on something that I can't even reach. And also I lost my "favorites"/ "wishlist" already, so it means I have to check some shows again just to find out that I decided they are not for me.

And it's very often somethig subtle that you won't be able to figure out just by looking at the picture: overall quality, yellow filter that makes girl look like she ***** from some illness, lack of sound in XXX show, shows that have been "upgraded" with their quality on paper but having relatively poor quality when compared to other shows, and so long, and so forth.

If the whole idea is to prevent users from keeping huge collection of previews and not buying any cards/ buing very few - why not make the cap for previews a function of cards already bought? That would give a freedom to people who have a lot of cards, and prevent newest customers from abusing nice preview system that was introduced some time ago.
That system was AWESOME and I bought TONES of cards I wouldn't buy otherwise becasue some girls look OKis on pictures but just KICK ASS when you see/hear them in action... With small number of these it's hard to stump on one in show-loop and decide - "that looks sexy, I want to see the whole thing".

Well, I've just updated software (wanted to check out new wishlist) and it seems to work w/o cap.
Doesn't change the fact that my list of previous is gone. I even tried to script it and get them back, but failed... :(

Back to re-creating my wishlist. I guess I will remove all useless .demo files once I feel like I'm done with it.
