Lack of variety in current demo files

I'd be interested to know what other members think of the current tendency to have every VG demo have the model finger beckon and then wave goodbye whilst walking up and down or sitting on the taskbar. I can understand the directors thinking this makes for an enticement for new members to buy cards or to join VG but quite frankly it is getting really boring.

But the main problem is that apart from giving us a view of the outfit and the model's figure it doesn't give any indication as to how she might otherwise move, dance or strip. I'd much rather see a short section from an actual routine that is in the card instead of these specially shot hello and goodbye clips.

Should demos represent more of the actual card content?

Yes - The short hello and goodbye clips tell us very little

No - The finger beckoning and hand waving is just fine

I agree. The demos doesn't really give an impression of the content of the show anymore. More variety in the demo clips would be great! For example I want to know if there's any poledance in a show before I buy it.

Frankly, haven't seen any demo for a long time, 'cause the program is set to not to download demos, and the demo clips of the purchased cards still offer a nice variety among all the nudity out there .. and as all the stuff plays at random .. won't get boring either.

But I definitely wouldn't be against to see something new and intriguing, when a demo starts to play. The software has been "revolutionized" already, so the collection - e-series is a brand new one. So why not to rethink the model's presentation - the most important part, when it comes to making a purchase decision ..

It's Yes from me.

Although Melena's latest card demo shows a little bit of hanky spanky with a riding crop ;) I tend to agree. We always used to have a pole clip, a standing/dancing clip and a taskbar clip. Now we seem to have two almost indentical standing clips and a taskbar clip sometimes.

So, a yes vote from me to go back to the old way :)

the demos must represent the actual card content, special "hello" and "goodbye" clips not needed - we want see how dancing a model, the demos must show the movement of performer, must show the expression! for example - old cards of Isizzu where the demo show her dance. or other example - emotional, positive dances of Gina Devine which are momentally decide to buy all her cards! those shows not contain difficult pole dance elements, but they are very good and their demos shows this. if a model can't dance - then she must have a good plastic of her body and move her ass! quickly, quickly! "move, fucking bitch - move your ass!" )))))

Thank you to everyone who commented. Between this thread and Meesha's 'New come to me motion' one Totem will hopefully take note. The number of votes in the poll may not be very many compared to those who vote on the new girls threads, but from a percentage viewpoint it is pretty telling.

Even if they've filmed twenty more cards with these special demo clips of beckoning and waving there's an option of isolating a short representative section from a full clip and using it as a demo file just like we had in the past. So it's not too late.

Let me be clear. I don't mind if one or two cards over the course of a couple of weeks have one such clip. Some of the ones I've seen have been very playful and enticing. I might even keep one or two of the models I really like instead of deleting them, which is what I usually do. But not every single released card please. I think the feedback on this is pretty clear.

plus 1 on the finger beckon. It seems every new card now has it and I personally find it gets kind of awkward if I see that move in many of the clips in a show.

PS: The forum can't handle the plus-sign, when I post it it just dissappears. Really Totem?

Any feedback from Totem as a result of these comments? It'd be nice to know whether it has been noted.

P.S. I don't want to be accused of spamming the forums or harassing Totem, but I am going to ask the same question on the other thread that is going on this topic in case this one gets missed.

Quite honestly the finger beckoning by every friggin model anymore is just annoying!! how can totem possibly think that this is sexy or makes me want to buy $50.00 worth of cards right now this second?! it needs to STOP totem! I'm sure there are many others who feel the same, and is the main reason I just don't buy cards anymore. it simply takes away the fun having every damn model act the same. this started with the dorcel cards and has just gone too far, imho.

I agree!! what is up with these new demos? we only get 2, as opposed to the 3 that there used to be, and now every model is doing this beckoning gesture?! I have turned down more hot babes lately because of this, which some director at totem seems to think is a good idea. wrong! we pay to see these girls dance and strip, and that still needs to be represented in thier demos. what is up with Totem Lately? as stated above, this seems to have started with the dorcel cards, and now there is just no variety at all. so, why should I spend my money, Totem?
