Hello!

I don't know if this is the right section of the forum, but i have a small technical question:
in some cards (eg, 1339 - Dominika C), the 1080p resolution does not require the latest version of the software;
in other cards (eg, 1550 - Marica Hase) release 1.1.0.70 or higher is mandatory.
What is the difference?
Thank you all!

Don't know, if I got it right, but .. the newer cards released in both: 720p and 1080p don't need especially the LATEST version of the software, but they ALL need a version .70 or higher to be played.
It's due to the new encoding technology of the cards.

Edit: the same goes to older cards been remastered (updated) in to a higher bitrate and resolution.

Hi MBK!

Surely you're right:
I had not thought that the new cards have been encoded in high definition and therefore can be seen EVEN in 720p, while the older cards were encoded in 720p and were then re-coded to a higher definition; then the software needs to be backwardly compatible (it's the correct word?)...
Thank you SO much and hear you soon.
Have a great time!
