Wow! That's a loaded question! lol :D
In my experience, some seem to be more in synch with "techno-dance" (or trance) music, while others seem to be dancing to soft rock music, and some to hard rock, some to blues, and others to country or folk music. A few seem to perform in synch with "gothic/industrial" metal music (Nine Inch Nails especially)...but one thing I have personally noticed is that the vast majority of the models performing on my desktop seem to be completely in synch with the Grateful Dead, no matter what song they are playing.
But that's just my own personal observation from the music I'm listening to while they perform.

post scriptum:
I forgot to mention that there are a few who literally beg me to play "Fat Bottomed Girls" by Queen, while they shake it for me! :)

@gonzo420

Thanks for sharing!
Grateful Dead... I'll try this.

Personally I use a lot Jan Hammer's music from the first version of Miami Vice (Don Jonson starring). It's instrumental and sounds good as well.
