Oh yeah, that's for sure. Originally, I had them on an external drive, but it started going bad, so I transfered them to my main disk when I got my 2TB disk, but by that time they were all already corrupted too much from all my previous computers that went bad. I then just decided to get a fresh copy of them all since so many were bad from bad disks and bad computers.
Yep, updating is good too. Most recent changes from Microsoft are the discontinuing all security updates for IE6 and for XP's SP2 also. Only SP3 is now still supported. The next discontinuing probably will be XP in any form, but that's just my guessing. Who knows?
