I wanted to instal VG in other directory than i have before... but when I change destination folder it says that "Windows Vista UA (something like that) does not alow it. I dont know how to slove it. I have deleted VG before and made sure all programs are off.

You may want to shut of UAC (User Account Control) first.

Copy the VGHD data directories (i.e. the entire VGHD folder with the sub folders) from where you have it to the other drive which would then be X:VGHD (where X is your other drive)

Uninstall VGHD and then reinstall and watch for the option to change the data directory, its not a prompt, just a section on the setup screen.

NB: The uninstall will removed your saved (and encrypted) password, so you either need to have remembered what your VGHD account password was or to check on your password at the following BEFORE you uninstall:

When you browse to select the drive X, it will display the new destination as X:\. Do not worry about the second slash. You should then be right to re-update your rights and the models should not be redownloaded.

I forgot to mention that I have XP NOT VISTA and i dont know were is this UAC and its strange cause Im loged with administrator rights anyway. I will try trick with placing instaler on another drive first and post the result.

use the subst command from command prompt to create a virtual drive then you can change locations in the future by running a simple command.

So this is how i made it.
I haven't shut off UAC cause i don't know how.
I have move instaler to drive D:\ and i was able to choose D\vghd directory as destination then.
However is strang IMO that i can't choose f.e. D:\\anotherFolder\vghhd

get the bat VGHDUtile, with him you can made several opération about VGHD.

ps: leave the bat file in him folder.

when is start made the option (15) for choose your language.

after use the option (14) for copy all your collection in one other hard drive the bat change for you the registry where you have ask to made the copy.

no need uninstall !!!

you just need know where made your copy, i made the following ;-)
