Most girls are not trained in dance in any sort of way, whether club, pole, ballet. twerk, belly, ....dance is a specific skill that takes time to master. Most girls are models and have more training in using toys to perform sex shows than any dance. This is where istipper being a niche product *****, as the girls generally do not dance for other products. Even webcam girls rarely dance on cam. XXX shows provide the girls an avenue to feel comfortable and perform in a way more similar to their other shoots. I wish totem invested more time into training and scripting shows but the girls need to complete 6 shows, with 5 costume/hair/makeup changes, a VR shoot, a photo-shoot, paper-work, lunch in two days. Basically the girls aren't trained enough to perform dance only shows, to maintain interest from enough of the customer base. People want xxx, partially because girls perform best at xxx, as they are mostly all erotic models, not dancers. Totem tried idancer, it didn't work because the professional dancers didn't want to be nude, and people didn't want to pay for clothed professional dancers. We just have to hope they shoot more non-xxx for the few pro dancers they do get.

You make an interesting point, but I don't buy it. Looking back at the catalog for almost 2 decades, they seem to have had no problem acquiring the top talent in the adult entertainment industry from many genres (nude modeling, porn, actual real strippers, etc.) I've been here since about 2015-2016. That year and the few years after it, this site was at it's peak, in my opinion. Super hot model after model were being booked, top notch such as Gloria, and Mila Azul, and many others. During this time, there is no way in hell the XXX cards were selling better. And yet, almost every cosplay card would be XXX and promoted on the home page.

I don't have the hard data, but my gut is telling me that from what I've seen, the push in XXX shows is unnatural and might not even be tied to sales (at least when it first started around 2018 or so). I could see them making a decision to at least try and please everybody and going 50/50 with XXX and non-XXX. But it is now 90% XXX. That is almost a slap in the face to their core customers, who've many, like myself have spent thousands on their product over the years. Now most of the new models have only XXX shows and that is ridiculous. Hey, I at least have saved a ton of money these last few years. But still.... not cool, Totem.

I know others have talked and ***** about the ridiculous amount of XXX shows, but I would like to know how this happened. After seeing these ads for years, I finally bit and tried the app out because the ad was for a Sabrisse show, and I recognized and liked the model. This was right in the beginning of the crystal clear and animation phase and I was pleasantly surpised by how great this app is. I have since then bought every single non-XXX crystal clear show and it still feels worth it to me. I bought a bunch of XXX cards in the beginning, too, but I stopped buying them altogether because they were all disappointments to me. 2 or 3 years ago, I started to see them pushing the XXX cards more. Almost all of the home page advertised cosplay shows were XXX and it was getting close to 50/50 XXX and non-XXX cards (which was still way too many XXX cards in my opinion). It is now 90% XXX and I wouldn't be surprised if they cut non-XXX altogether. This program has been around for a long time and the XXX cards have always been there. Why are they all of a sudden selling so well now? I know there are obvious reasons such as a push from Totem ***** them into the cosplay cards (cosplay and XXX is a bad mix, too) and advertising them on the home page more, but what changed?I've seen people argue that both XXX and non-XXX shows are nothing new and can be found anywhere on the internet but I disagree. Sure, there are nude modeling sites with stripping videos but they are constantly edited with cuts and face zoom-ins etc. A static shot of the entire model stripping with this kind of quality is unique. The XXX shows are the most low-effort, amateurish content on the internet. All a woman needs is a webcam and she can put on a masturbation show on any of the dozens of webcam sites. The stripping and dancing is the core of this app, it made it what it was and I'm watching the best softcore content on the internet slowly disappear into generic, amateur, dime-a-dozen content. Does anyone know how this happened? Is it because somebody in charge at Totem just has a fetish for webcam shows?

If you press the quote button on the right hand side of someone else's message, you'll be able to quote their message in your post ;)Happy to see we're on the same page - but it seems to me that the majority of customers isn't.If I compare cards from long ago, there was much more non-nude and non-XXX. And I enjoyed them more, could actually have them running in the background as I wored - can't have that with straight up hardcore porn (so that's why I'd delete or at least untick taskbar clips). But the company drifted in the direction of XXX - maybe the failed iDancer project also influenced that, who knows. I can only speak for myself - there's not a lot that makes me excited in the product anymore, but since I'm not a great spender (and my tier of customers probably's the same - we don't provide much income to the company anymore), it goes unnoticed. This is a fair point. I find it hard to remember there are so many different types of customers. We are the exact opposite in our likes, I delete any card with too many non-nude. I don't want all xxx but I don't mind a few clips. I like the the current direction of having more xxx, although 80-100% of cards being so is too much. They have a lot more cosplay and costumes, which is ok, although I think it inhibits the most talented girls. But the reality we only spend $10 a month for the service at most, even if we have already spent thousands. They have to be focused on pumping out 10 cards a week so they can keep running NFT, SEC, EX...they will have customers spend more for Julia Graff SEC than I have spent in years. So my voice can't matter that much.

Exactly the bolded bit above. What we do doesn't matter much, IMO. Not anymore.

And yes, in the past two types of customers (you vs me) could coexist - but not in this new environment, I'm afraid.

The fact theres no competition in this market makes me either suck it up or leave - no other option. EDIT: One more thin I forgot about - some of the costumes in the cosplay shows are simply a waste of space - not becuase they're bad quality, buit because the model immediately drops them and starts maturbating, so the costume's not even used much - e.g Melody Marks maid show,

I think with the way the coming soon page has been looking last 2-3 weeks it's very likely non-xxx cards are just going to stop altogether. Once again I don't mind if these cards are more balanced to have plenty of sequential dancing/stripping/teasing etc leading up to the xxx finish.

I don't think that's going to happen.

Some girls (Lana, Rocky Di, for example) simply don't want to do XXX - and we will continue getting them (albeit rarely - most of the non-XXX models that come to mind got some less favourable reviews and weren't invited for a second take - Lana is an exception), so the non-XXX category will have some models, just a very small number.
