Ahhh OK thanks at least they didn't blindside if you read the fine print. I'm still done buying for at least a while longer. I want the old Virtuagirl back but I know we can't alway get what we want. In the mean time there is much to explore elsewhere.

Last week shows cost me 11 credits each. Now they are 12 credits each. That's a whopping 1 credit more than before. 1 credit is 8,3 cents worth, when bought using the regular promotions. I hope I stopped buying iStripper cards all together by the time I got worried about that.

For anyone else stumbling across this thread, looks like my old discord account had a wrong birth year (which can not be changed without submitting a ticket to discord help team), or had a nsfw setting somewhere that was turned on (I could not find it). I just opted to try getting a new email address and creating a new discord account, which worked like a charm.

I will continue to buy new cards but probably at a slower pace. I have a number of older cards on my wishlist. They are there because I did not think they were worth full price. Now with the price increase they will most likely never be bought unless there is a super deal.

This has been thought through financially analytically.
In previous years we received 20% more credits around Christmas.
And at the beginning of the year 20% discount on the cards of the previous year.
So maybe wait and see what comes in December/January.
And you can make your move.
There are older cards that are really worth having
Personally I already bought fewer tickets because I don't like that cat thing with licking hands.
And lately sometimes the hair is very long, which is not really my thing (unless the model and/or outfit has to be my taste).
But whether it is 13.5 or 15 credits. If the show is good and you enjoy watching it, it's worth the money.

Why even consider the negligably small probability that costs will decrease? When did anywhere in Europe see a negative inflation rate (and if you know of any how long did that last)? Feel free to go back hundreds of years in your search.

How long should a company keep their prices constant before raising them to counter inflation? In the case of iStripper this is the first price rise in, I think, more than 8 years.

Can you think of anything that has not substantially increased in price over that period?

There may be a few such products but they are very few and far between. I agree with @HansSachs in that I find the new icons "incomprehensible" (not quite the correct word, but close and its use is comprehensible) in that, at least on my laptop's screen, they are far too small to be able to properly see and interpret them when they are displayed next to our avatars here in the forum.

New Vip status icons, both for "classic" and "new" levels, are practically incomprehensible and should be preferably replaced with the old ones - at least the already existing ones...

I was upgraded to Elite, Card prices more then doubled, 13.75 to 30 credits, No credits added and after updating to the latest version when I got to my profile or account all it does is consensually flashes the page and reloads. Not to happy with any of it.

I've been looking for an excuse to buy credits again but Totem keeps reminding me they obviously have no interest in me as a customer. Maybe I'll try again around the new year but I'm sure they will do that annoying calendar again.

Well, I have enough. Frankly, the all table shows, the money grabbing "games", the preponderance in offering cards from 6 or 8 years ago as 'sales' and now this increase.. I guess I have enough shows. Especially after reading defensive "Team" member responses here in this thread.

Didn't even realize you changed pricing until today when I tried to buy an 'on sale' show and was informed "sorry, the price has changed". The advertised price on the screen changed. That's your business model? Lost a customer here.

I understand the new prices. I don't frequent the message board often, my bad. Todays change was a surprise. I thank you for your efforts and the new dark skin girls, and the asian girls. Keep that diversity coming.

Why is it not retroactive?

If you look at at from Totem's point of view you would see that the purpose of the free credits given as each membership level is reached is very likely to be to encourage you to keep buying until you pass the threshold. If you have already passed that threshold then there is very little point in trying to encourage you to do so.

Not punished, just not rewarded for doing nothing - because it was something that you had already done. You also don't get the increased discount for the cards that you have already bought. It's rather like buying any product before it is reduced in price.
