I'm going to take a pause on buying credits until I see how Dolz impacts IS so i thought I would take the time to download some of the video and photo sets of the shows that I'm concerned are most vulnerable to vanishing one day.

I see how I can play 1080p on the website but I can't find a way to download it. And on the IS app I can download but only 480p?

I'm sure I could use a youtube downloaded of some sort but I have believe I'm just missing something? What is the easiest way to download 1080p (or better) videos.

I download all of my is videos at 1080p from the app.
Click to play a video. On the bottom right of the player is a cog icon. Click that to change the resolution.
The app should remember your setting.

Also,
if you click the left-most icon at the top right of the app, you will see the file downloading. This will show the resolution. You will be able to see it is is indeed in 1080p or whatever resolution you have already chosen. If the wrong resolution, simply click the x at the right side of that item in the download list. Then, go to the video, and play it, then change the resolution again. Then download it again.
(this should not need to happen in the app; not so sure about the website)

to Make 1080p the default download Resolution.
you can edit the registry.

Quit iStripper
run regedit.exe
(press the WIN key + R)

In regedit
browse to the Branch called
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Totem\vghd

edit the Key on the right side called
defaultResolution
set it's value to a 2


Then start iSripper
the Videos will now be downloaded in 1080p without the need to first open it.

Sorry I opened the wrong Help text file.
and referenced the wrong key name.
The Above was in fact for Setting the Card Download resolution.. to 720p


The Correct Registry Key is

In regedit
browse to the Branch called

Then start iSripper
the Videos will now be downloaded in 1080p without the need to first open it.

Not being able to add Photos to posts is a hinderance to providing advice.
I would have caught it if I had gone through the Motions and Screen Captured Images to post.

you can edit the registry.

I only had to play 1 show to change the default resolution to 1080p. The rest I have simply hit download and they download at 1080p.

There's an option specially for this purpose in Advanced Settings - Downloads - Default download resolution. You can choose between 720p, 1080p, 3K or 4K (Premium).

@dar2112v, yes, this is perfect! It works for you. I hope it continues to work even after restarting the app.

@Carbo, this other user is talking about the bonus videos not the animation files. That setting does not change the resolution for the bonus videos.
