Hello, what happens when trying to access the site ?
Also, do you have an anti-virus, like Avast or malwarebytes ?
Thx

Hi Celine,
Sometimes nothing happens. Sometimes the iStripper logo goes to the taskbar, but, iStripper does not launch.
When I click on the icon a small screen appears. It looks like a blank iStripper screen. If I click on it, it disappears.
About a month ago, I had a major problem. I have about 1,600 cards, but when I opened the file, around 1,300 of them were grey and could not be used.
One of your team, Manue, has been working on the problem.

This reminds me of my problem with opening the program that I sometimes encounter, but now rarely.

The iStripper logo appears in the taskbar, but the program window does not open.

Other times the window opens, but my avatar in the upper left doesn't show up, nor my credits, and a spinning download circle loops in the center of the screen.

I have to press "Ctrl "+"Alt "+"Delete" to close the program. To restart it afterwards.

This problem is less frequent now. But there was a period where it happened 1 time on 3 or 4 program startup. It even made my PC freeze, and I had to shut down the computer with the power button, because it was impossible to shut down the program with the ***** described above.

@ComteDracula
iStripper est monté en puissance au fil des ans, il serait temps que vous en fassiez de même. Et du coup, gagnez plusieurs tours d'avance en optant pour une version quantique.😎

It sounds like the app is BUSY synchronizing and building the Data and Models folders.
it will be Non-Responsive
Just a blak screen or possible a small black retangle during this process.

Everytime you try to interact it may crash
and then it has to start the process all over again.

the Member wrote this..
"About a month ago, I had a major problem. I have about 1,600 cards, but when I opened the file, around 1,300 of them were grey and could not be used."

if the Path got changed, this can happen.

example:
an external drive plugged in to one USB port, may be assigned "E:" drive letter
but if that same drive got plugged in to a different USB port, it may now get assigned the "G:" drive letter

So now iStripper can not find the files and will start to redownload all of the files again.

i wish the app on the advance settings screen
had a button that would report all three of the paths set in the registry
the
MainPath
DataPath
ModelsPath

if these can be checked
then you can compare the Registry settings to the Actual Physical Paths
They all must Match.

I think Wyldanimal is correct.
In January I bought an external disc drive with more space and moved some files from other drives to create space.

My two cents.
a while back I had a similar problem.
I updated the software on my computer and Istripper was gone.
Once I wrote back and forth with the team, they figured out what the software update did to the totem application.

my two cents... did you update your computer software recently? it might be that...

In addition to @Wyldanimal post, it's not just plugging into a different port, it can also affected by plugging in a thumbdrive when the HD is not connected.
Windows dynamically allocates drive letters (unless manually assigned) so your G: drive could become H: if reconnected when G: is already in use
I manually assigned my external drive to K: , unless I plug in 4 thumbdrives, it stays as K: (and i only have 4 ports)
Plug n Play is good but a little manual intervention can help. The OS doesn't always know what's best.😎

In addition to @Wyldanimal 's and @muttonjeff 's posts - the drive letter assignment can be even more random than that. If you have two or more USB drives plugged in when starting Windows then the order in which they are assigned drive letters is not necessarily the same each time you reboot, though it often will be stable enough to give you false impression that you can rely on it).

Because of his if you have a few drives that you have permanently plugged in or use on a regular basis it is well worth assigning them permanent drive letters. If they are permanently plugged it they can be given letters close to the start of the alphabet (I use A and B for two permanently attached drives) but if they are only plugged in when required it is probably better to assign them to letters close to the end of the alphabet as these letters will not be automatically be assigned to some other device unless you plug in a very large number of drives (I use X, Y and Z for a few thumb drive that I use on a semi-regular basis).
