@SittingDuck

Yes.

When it came time to claim the R for the last Joker it took an incredibly long amount of time. Sunk cost falicy in full effect there.

Which type of spin were you using? Did you find one was better than the others?

Apparently I am no longer a number - I am a free man.

Don't know what the achievement is - it still says "Coming Soon".

The achievement is probably sucker of the month - 450 credits (net) for a Joker Card.

**Update** I did it! I regretably sunk the rest of my credits in the hopes for one friggin Joker card. 300 credits, largest prize was 25 credits and 50% off and I spelt "JOK". Message received, no joker card for Nekane's Bitch.

And what exactly does the Joker have to do with the premium account? Same as if the gas station attendant asked me if I was married when I filled up... 😶

Did anyone else notice that the latest version of the Slot Machine likes to add 25 tokens to the total without there being an associated card ?

Example, I got a "J" "*" "Card(woth 25)" "Card(worth 25)" "%20 Off"

I get %30 Off, I get the %20Off from the wheel, and it wants to chage me 48 Credits.
Normaly, I could buy the two cards straight out for 17.5 Credits each = 35 Credits.

It happens EVERY TIME.

It looks bad when you try to do a discount, and charge more than if you didn't play at all, and this is after you have paid to spin.

If an Admin wants, I will gladly show a video of the results of a 5 Credit Spin.

I had the same experience. I then later got a result of 3 cards worth 25, a star and 5% discount, for the same price. It's as if the Joker letter is counting as a card for calculating the bundle price.

Slot Machine BUG REPORT:
Based on the reports I've read.
such as this one
It's as if the Joker letter is counting as a card for calculating the bundle price.

When a win Line has a Letter in it, that Letter is counting as a card, with a value of 25 credits, and is included in the discounted price for the remain cards on the Win Line.
So you pay the price for an extra card that doesn't exist.

I would consider This to be a BUG.. the Value of the Letter on the win line should have a value of 0.

I have no Official capacity to fix this, this is just a report, based on reading the post in this thread.

update to include link to a photo showing the bug...

Tout sur iStripper / Slot machine Q&A
One letter is included in the discount with full CC(+) price...well, I wouldn't go there. 😆 Annoying when you get 50-70% and have to pay for the letter as well...😖

Just updated to new version and software plays alot better on slots. Still only had a J and O after 255 credits spent now. But its better than before. I believe version .242 is broken on the current release and should either roll back or update to the newest version if you intend to play the slot machine.

This will be a bit of a techie post..
and it is not an Official post from the Team.
Just a post from me as a member and a developer with a bit of insight.

the Slot machine Interface we See, is built on a Web Platform.

The iStripper Software, displays this web page as a frame in one of it's tabbed Views.

This is done using the Webkit that is part of the Development system called QT.

version .242 uses an older Webkit from QT and Struggles to display the web page elements smoothly.

a newer version of the QT platform is used for Version .246
and it's webkit is capable of smoothly running the webpage for the Slot machine graphics and sounds.

as I mentioned in a previous post.
the Game is run on the server. So all of the spins are played out on the server side.
The Web page is Just the Display, so we see nice graphics and hear the Sounds that represent the spin.

None of the Sounds, and Graphics affect the Actual game play, as that is all done on the server side.

the istripper GUI, and the Slot machine web page are all just the Client
a way to display the results.

.246 is a beta version
and yes it has some issues.
that's why it is called a beta..
let users try it, and report any issues they find..

but it does, allow you to enjoy the Slot machine with a much better user experience.

That's the best way I can explain it.

@NekanesBitch - you asked

Have any non-premium member won Joker cards or any of the larger prizes?

So I checked the status of the winners listed alongside the slot machine (something you could have done yourself)

Of these 15 members

    1 was Platinum
    5 were Single Diamond
    1 was Double Diamond
    4 were Triple Diamond
5 were Triple Diamond and Premium

At the time that I made a copy of the list it had 16 entries in it, but one of the single diamond winners on it had won a joker twice.

My issue hasn't been with functionality. I've had it "fail to connect" a few times, but that's not a big deal. I didn't lose any credits over it.

From the image you can see I got 4 jokers total. Granted, I spent 1500 credits + whatever I won.... However, I also ended up with 21 medium and standard cards that I didn't really want. Hoever, with the discount offered I was paying less than regular price for the cards I did want. The others were just a bonus.

At one point I got a free roll.... 3 medium and 1 standard resolution... I didn't even bother collecting it. I think maybe you have guessed my complaint lol. To be fair though, there seem to be just under 500 cards left that are CC or CC+.

With all the cards I got, I ended up paying an average 30 credits each... If I wasn't trying to limit the cards I don't bother downloading, I could have made out better. But even still....

I have a question to @Gorfa91 and @imhorny5555

You both said you won several Joker cards. Did you play for 1 credit, 2 credits or 5 credits?

I'm curious how many tries it took to collect your Jokers. I spent about 550 credits, each time I played for 5 credits and I got only the letter "J". I'm not sure if it makes sense to spent 5 credits instead of 1 to get the Joker.

It's unfortunately very simple.

As logn as there are users who are willing to spend and justify spending 25 euro on one SEC card with no other returns, these games will be here with us.

If you don't want SEC costing this much, don't spend. Simple as that.

It says

You are not a number anymore

@gkar45

The achievements still say "coming soon" so I have no idea what the achievement is.

@lucaszr

I spent 451 credits (net). I also spent all the credits I won back so I have no idea of the actual number of spins. Initially mine were a mixture of 1, 2 and 5 credit spins but the last 200 or so were all single credit spins.

In my previous post I forgot to add one important information. I said that I spent 550 credits, but about 450 of these credits was spent to buy discounted cards, so the spins itself cost me about 100 credits.

By the way,
As logn as there are users who are willing to spend and justify spending 25 euro on one SEC card with no other returns, these games will be here with us.
It is true, however, it depends on your goal.

If you play to win credits and Jokers it can cost you a lot. I once tried to play to win some free credits. When I realized that the chances of winning are small and it would not pay off, I stopped playing.

Some time ago, however, I decided that sooner or later I would like to complete the collection and came to the conclusion that the slot machine can help me with this. A minimum 20% discount in combination with the chance of winning free credits and Joker cards is a pretty good option for a person who intends to "catch 'em all". Today I had a lot of cards with a 50% discount. Last time I had several 70% and even 100% discounts.

No disagreement here.

People can have different goals while playing these kind of games. Some will treat is as a game in itself, seeing what they can get for a fixed amount of credits. (Those will probably be least disappointed).

Some others will see this as a 'way' of obtaining a SEC, and those will be most disappointed, as the chances are still pretty slim, like they would be in any other gambling game.

I know I'm staying clear of those kind of games for the purpose of actually getting anything - expect nothing and you will not be disappointed. If I do play it's for fun and I write off the credits as lost, but a losing streak can be disheartening anyway.

Hi @lukaszr to answer your question I started to play "1 credit" at a time and quickly shifted to play "5 credits" at a time (like I did for previous slot machines). My logic was mainly to "save time" because I think the odds are such that at the end and in average you have to spent a given amount to get a Joker card. One can imagine than it is possible but very unlikely event that one win a Joker card by rolling 5 times with 1 credit... probably as many chances as winning the Euromillion lottery.

@all I am glad that we can share figures and put a reality one this "fun" game. For me this is a very good "game" for people that wish to complete their collections and not buy cards in a selective manner. So they combine the best of all (buy discounted cards and collect Joker cards). For people like me that already have all cards, we only play to get Joker cards so far less fun (seeing empty slots with 70% discount is even a bit ridiculous) but it is stated as-is by a pop-up when we enter the game.

@Alkasyn yes I agree the degree of frustration will not be the same according to the goal you follow. Slot machine is not my preferred game, I do prefer the Goose game or the Scratch cards. I also do like the pre-purchase for one month and finally am very eager to get the extra bonus reload as everyone here. 😋

With the first 4 I got I would start using the 1 for 10 - 15 spins or so, then switch back to the 5. I don't know that it actually helped, but not long after I would get a letter.

Well up to 660 credits net spend and two Joker cards wins. No major credit wins (max credit wins 2 stars only).

So the second Joker cost 210 credits net. A bit cheaper than the first one and obtained using single credit spins only.

No cryptic achievement messages with the second Joker.

Probably time to stop now for me although I may have another play later in the week.

In the current situation I have nothing else to spend money on frivolously other than purchasing credits. I can't go out for a drink or a meal. I don't smoke or gamble (other than Totem's games) and drinking at home on your own isn't much fun.

@Number6 - I know what you mean. If you approach this game with the right attitude it can be fun - and playing for single credits means of course you can play longer.

I am on enforced leave at home and there are some serious issues with my remote family, so having this game to play has helped keep me sane. And as I'm not going out same as you I have those funds available - and it also helps that I took good advantage of the recent reload offer to stock up with lots of lovely free credits so the three Jokers I have won have in reality only "cost" me around 150 paid-for credits.

I might have a go now and see if I can pick up a Joker using the single credit approach.
